If you play France, put in the 3 months in a squadron and get a beast of an IFV for free. Even for top tier its a no brainer. Just remember as the big man said, its a light tank. You need a line up for it, and.... don't hug too close to your cover.... I've even had HEAT rounds pen through rubble and torch my light vehicles.
I think they should bring a change that you can only join a Battle if you have 3 Tanks at a pretty much same br like 9.0 and 9.3. for example and if you leave after 1 Death you should have like the whole nation or all nations locked for at least 3 Hours so this matchmaking gets better. Yesterday I lost 5 of 8 battles where People left after 1 minute with 1 Death (5 guys on my Team).
I don't get how this weighs 6 tons more than the 9040Cs lol. I wonder if 34 tons is fully loaded with soldiers and not the empty weight because I don't see where the weight could come form.

@Rimmless Gaijin already said that Benelux ground would be coming. They dont have to be a whole new line in the TT but can be inserted throughout the tree
NEDERLAND OH NEDERLAND JIJ BENT MIJN KAMPIOEN!. as a dutch person i've been waiting for this one for so long... and was underwhelmed. the real one gets spikes along with ahead shells (which let's be honest are missable). anyways having a dutch ground vehicle in the game makes me very happy. can't wait for the leopard 2a8NL :)
One thing i always do on these autocanons is bring 1 or 2 clips of apds. Especially on this cv90 since the apds is actually quite good, same velocity almost the same pen(up to 30 degrees) and a bit higher mass. + instead of reloading the full 9 secs in a firefight you can immediately switch to apds
In terms of hp per ton and speed, the 9030, 9035, and 9040B are comparable However, the 9040C has addon armor, the Lvkv has addon armor and two more crew, and the 9040 BILL has 8 missiles, a missile launch system, and another crew member, which makes them have a much lower HP per ton compared. Interestingly, the heaviest is the 9035, at 32 tons, but with a 721 hp engine to the 9040's 550 hp engine.
Love this tank!! Got it day 1 of the patch and I love it. It's part of both 9.0 - 9.7 and my 10.7 lineups. At 10.7 (CAS lineup) my favorite combos is this tank with the Super Etendard or the Jaguar.
I think they might have boosted the mobility a little bit lately on the CV90s. Grinded some ARB for a while and when I came back to GRB 10.3 I can swear they feel faster than they used to. Better traction I think.
I always carry 1 magazine of APDS just for the "Oh Shit" moment, especially when I'm still loading the APFSDS belt. Maybe you can try that too, Justin.
Researching it now while I catch up on vehicles, definitely be running with VBCI and AMX 30 Super. Though I will probably pick it up with GE at least a bit before I finish researching it, going to be a matter of timing. I have the Swedish one, it's....ok as a later game lower-SP option. Definitely not a first spawn for me.

@@jeandelacroix6726 Balancing is a bit stupid when it comes to certain vehicles, like the ZSU-57, it doesn't get HE-VT, but the chinese copy does with a 0.3 raise in BR, why not do the same to the soviet? It makes the soviet ZSU much inferior to the chinese counterpart.

As a Dutchie I heavily dislike how our first introduction is in France.... We absolutely do not belong there, if anything we belong in the German tree since our mechanized forces integrated into the Bundeswher and 95% of our vehicles are German, just Belgium or original French vehicles would have sufficed

Our mechanized divisions are even integrated into the Bundeswehr 10th Panzerdivision. Netherlands would have been perfect to fill the gaps of top tier Germany without adding too many new vehicles (since 95% of our vehicles are literally the same)
The big prob with Belgian vehicles is that most of them cover a need that can be filled by a French vehicle already Imo Gaijin should have gone NL for Germany BUT Switzerland for France. This would have been less problematic due to the historical Swiss plan of joining France in case of a German invasion of Switzerland (yes they feared Germany more than France, cant blame them afte you see all their neighbours being gobbled up by funny moustache's plans) Or Greece. France is friends with Greece.

Th VBCI-2´s gun is Slower firing, and does less pen and less spalling from what i remember, + its a larger tank so easyer to spot, and it dosnt have a laser warning reciver ether, + prob is weaker due to lack of the spall liner vs the 9035NL. So overall the 9035´s are differently the better tanks vs the VBCI.
ngl i feel like gaijin doesn't really care about the becoming of the meta at top tier, as seen with their lack of action in making more appropriate maps and br systems, now with the increased tenacity of use of light tanks, i think gaijin just thinks that light tanks will become the future, even making some really beefy against other light tanks that would in most cases just swarm those light tanks but have more protection against them, the focus is on light tanks really makes playing mbts and anything else that doesn't have a fast firing gun and insane speed sometimes extremely discouraging because they tend to be just straightout more useless or worse in every scenario in other words, no thought
Interesting theory except every single top tier (non-AA) ground vehicle is a MBT. And they keep nerfing alternatives to just having a big cannon. Like adding shitty unrealistic controlling missiles and increasing module health against apfsds. They clearly want the meta to be MBTs. Now if they let the light tanks keep their strengths and moved them up in BR that would be interesting but they keep them all around 10.X and just nerf them until they fit better at that BR

I love it how you can scout tanks through buildings but can’t in open fields when looking at them. Your cross hairs have to be directly on them. 😂

The CV9035 is bigger, more armored, and with a more powerful engine/transmission.
