WOW, THIS IS QUITE REFRESHING TO WATCH.
Those carrots are amazing. They're like cartoon carrots, like the romantic ideal of what a carrot is supposed to look like. And it's particularly funny because of how consistent they were.
Loved the sounds of the harvesting of the veggies and the rain, relaxing.
What a great video...it was nearly 15 mins and felt like 5 mins. Nat and Em are great together... professional but relaxed and funny. And the quip-filled editing is the best. Natasha,,, grrrrl,,, raw veggies are the BOMB! Us American heathens enjoy them as much as our bruthas down unda' 👍
If you were actually serious about setting up a garden aquaponics isn't difficult to set up and you don't need that much space to set one up so it would be great for a Tokyo apartment.
Thats true, my higschool has a hydroponics tower set up in the environmental science classroom and it probably takes up a square meter or less room

The farm stay looked really fun, and I've never seen red leek before! Also, the two of you have great chemistry on camera, very fun to watch! (Especially all the "very synced" moments, haha).

Natasha could start out with a balcony compost bin to prepare good dirt, if she has a balcony in her house. If not, she could have some potted plants like tomato or something to reap the benefits of the hard work.

It is reasonable for Natasha, a Singaporean, not to have any idea in a outrdoor living because they are so highly industrialized and lands are premium.

Question: (And I think I know the answer, but just checking) So, I lived in Korea for 2 years and other foreigners would always talk about going to Temple Stays, which sounds like this but a temple instead of a farm. Does Japan have Temple Stays as well? Anyways, Thanks for the fun video! Looking forward to more!

I looked into this AirBnB because of this video, but I'm not quite sure how to get there. If you don't have a car and want to stay for like a week, do you take a taxi there? It's about a 45min-hour drive from the nearest train station, so I'm curious as to how one foreigner can get there without having to rent a car.

What is the green actually a thing called spinach mustard? And also you said that they pickled that green?
In america we would probably call it a mustard green, which is just the leafy part of the mustard plant
Montgomery Fortenberry TY yes there is literally a mustard called spinach mustard. Since she mentioned spinach that’s where my mind was going. Then after you made your comment I did a little bit more investigating. I found exactly what they used. Gai Choy. I even found the recipe to pickle it. I’m sure I’ll even find the rice ball recipe also. But it does not look suitable to grow in my area anytime of the year. But still I will try the recipe with maybe some other mustard green using the same pickling technique. I’m always looking for a tasty way to get rid of extra sushi rice.
