How Do You Get to This Village
By Flight: This village does not have an airport. Hence, it relies on its nearest airport located at Bagdogra. From the airport, the village is roughly 75 km driving distance away. Travelers can first take a flight to the airport and then arrange a rented car to finally reach the village after landing.
By Train: NJP (New Jalpaiguri Junction) is close to this village at a distance of around 72 km. Get a ticket to this busiest railway station in North Bengal. And once you are here at the railway station, plenty of cars are available to be hired.
By Road: Lamahatta is well connected with the major cities of West Bengal via National Highway 10. The rented car will drive you via Sevoke, Kalijhora, Teesta Bazar, and many other scenic places to finally drop you at this village. From Siliguri, the distance is about 66 km and takes around 3 hours to reach by car.
