Your videos been really helpful. I managed to make some very pretty covers in gimp with this. Shame the bloody things never print in the right size but it was very fun to learn
I just now discovered your channel, I had to hit that subscribe button got a lot of awesome videos here and it’s gonna take me some time to watch them all.
I came by this video as I often like to design covers for discs and found your tutorial very interesting. I wish to ask if it is possible - and hopefully not asking the impossible - how one can make a custom big sleeve. I currently have a couple and read online they are on the verge of extinction, and I have a movie I really wish would have its own big sleeve in my collection. Would you have any tips and/or tricks in making one? thanks
Those look pretty good! I always like seeing other people making custom covers. I actually just uploaded my tutorial on making custom blurays with working discs as well. I definitely may take some inspiration from your covers going forward though!
What region's version of blu rays did you use for this. I'm from Australia, and when I used your measurements, it turned out wrong. Can you help clear that up so I know which cases to order?
Can you help me .. i have blu ray covers for peacemaker series... Cover is for case 11mm... How i can change size in photoshop to 14mm blu ray case for 3 disc tnx
@@MCUHQ it seems that's what everyone else uses too. You would have thought in this day and age there are free programs that can do something just as well as something like photo editing.
Would you be interested in making some covers for me. I’ll be willing to pay for them I just need the slip artwork. Looking for all the shout factory artwork for Halloween
Please do a 4K Slipcover for Venom: Let there Be Carnage. The 4K Blu-Ray does not have a slipcover, it's really sad. I think the dimensions you already have will work. Plus, all the images you need already exist since this isn't a Disney+ show, no need to make custom ones.
Making custom Blu-ray covers is ok to keep for your personal use, but the maker can't sell them commercially nor to the public for monetary gain because, it will be considered a violation of copyright infringement material, if the licensing fees were not purchased and obtained legally from the studios.
I just take a REAL blu ray’s cover and us it as my template and they are the right size every time and they look like actual blu ray cover that the company would use like Disney and with a bar code on the back that you are missing and the person on the have a Border around them and cut out the background around the person. the credits like company and actors etc on the bottom at the back that you also DO NOT HAVE . That is how I do mine and they look better than yours NO offence. fake ones that you see on eBay and really bad ones that I see online that do not look real at all
They don’t put the cast on the back of tv show covers because they don’t work like a movie. Cast and crews vary each episode so you can’t make a definitive list on the back like a movie blu-Ray. That’s why I don’t have them
That seems to be an issue. I would recommend printing it a couple sizes bigger than the actual file is. I don’t know what’s up with that because Google assured me the file size was correct
I would like to know what paper to use for the filler.
Thank you so much now I know how to make them professionally
Glad I could help

If I want to print it, how do I make it fit on my bluray cover? Do I have to have some measurement?

Thank you! That means a lot
This is pretty cool. I was thinking about doing something like this for some playstation digital only games. Gonna do this for sure
I always like to add a barcode on the back just to make it look more official.

Thank you so much! This really helped me with my Media Studies project. Great work!
Glad I could help!
@@MCUHQ Wish you would create one for me if I given you a link file? cause Photoshop is not free + free version keeps saying not enough ram lol
Agreed! I never even heard of the show. But not doing anything with Sigourney Weaver is definitely a let down.
Awesome ! Thanks ! Ill try with Canva tomorrow

I do everything with American measurements because I live in the US
@@MCUHQ Thank you. I realised I typed in the wrong measurements. It looks great now. Thanks for the help!
really helpful thanks dude, appreciate it
Glad I could help
Thanks a lot, great piece of work!
You’re welcome my friend!
You should make a video on how to make a custom slipcover for the blu rays.
Can you make a cover for Fight club?
I don’t make covers for things that already have them
@@MCUHQ Oh alright
Can you help me .. i have blu ray covers for peacemaker series... Cover is for case 11mm... How i can change size in photoshop to 14mm blu ray case for 3 disc tnx
You should be able to change the dimensions in the menu before opening the project
@@MCUHQ ok i first time use photoshop:) but i need create this covers for meny series... How i contact you to help me step by step if you want? :)
What paper should I use
I just use a normal printer paper
WOAH GOOD JOB
Hey, do you make custom blu-rays? If so, what is the best software to use?
I don’t make the blu-rays. Just the covers
When complete do I just print regularly or are there different specifications?
When you print, you should up the size a tiny bit. Other than that it’s all good to print
@@MCUHQ thank you so much! I have been wanting to make blu ray covers for my film school projects
Do you think you can make a second cover for wandavision?! Please and thank you 💯🙏
I can eventually. It’ll be a little while tho
@@MCUHQ that's fine by me, I do appreciate you considering it so thank u bro 💯🙏
Hi do you sale slipcovers for 4k movies
Ok but how would I make a box set cover
No clue. That seems like a fun challenge for me to try next
Can you do this using a software that is free? Photoshop is extremely too expensive for someone that might make 5 of these a year.
If I learn a free software, then definitely
You can always grab a free, recent version of PS. It's out there...
Can you do wwe Monday night raw from 2008-2011?
I could if I was well versed in it. I’ve only watched a couple episodes like 3 years ago
what printer do you use?
The standard printer I have at my house
is there a program to use other than the over complicated and over priced photoshop?
Photoshop is the only one I use so I wouldn’t be able to answer that question. I’m sure there are alternatives

I only make covers from things I’ve seen so as long as I’ve seen it I can do it. It’s just a matter of whether or not I would have the time
And I tend to only make them for things that don’t already exist

Can you make ones for anime as well?
I don’t watch anime so I wouldn’t be able to
Do you take requests? I love these!
It would depend on the request. Because I only make covers for things I have seen and am familiar with
@@MCUHQ Ok cool thanks
Sensacional
If u could make ones for the runnaways, cloak & dagger, and the rest of the Netflix marvel shows it will be perfect
I make them as I watch the shows so once I finish watching those, I will make them
@@MCUHQ that reply was fast, thanks for it and I can't wait💥

You could sell the covers though! Priced decently they could pull in a decent income!
