- I have finally had enough of Call of Duty titles on release. Modern Warfare III is essentially a major DLC to Modern Warfare II and represents Activision going back on their word... yet again.

Hurts us zombies players even more. The last zombies was vanguard which is unanimously known as the worst version of zombies. Cold war had good gameplay but no soul : (
I think cold war was some of the best zombies modes. Next to Hoard point in WW2
I'm saying cold war was fun but it wasn't better than bo3 2 or 1 zombies
I also don't like how it was littered with way points and the characters weren't as compelling as the classic 4
Having operators as your zombies character instead of actual preset characters is what ruined Cold War zombies imo
I thought cod mobile is one of the easiest worst games on the list until Vanguard came out.
Tbh I loved cod zombies
Still loads of content and most importantly they didn’t pull a BO2, where they release a garbage map for free then charge you to play actually good ones
They should’ve instead done a campaign DLC to modern warfare 2 and given an extra year or 2 for modern warfare 3
It’s almost like that was the initial plan
@@andys2801but greed took over, making it a separate update for modern warfare 2 campaign instead and adding more content to modern warfare 2 would’ve been an easy solution and a year break for the devs! (To work on their upcoming games more and polish it)

That was the initial plan but then greed got in the way and they decided to make the year 2 plan into a "full" release game.
@@sororxcide would’ve been free since they don’t do paid DLC’s anymore, cold war is a good example as we gotten all the multiplayer and zombie maps for free where back in the day we had to pay for them, also the modern warfare story is pretty interesting and has more space to continue it
The problem is that people are curious to see if the actual game (not the beta) will reignite their love for the franchise, and the only way to do that is by buying the game, thus, continuing the loop...until consumers are solid in their approach and deman a good/decent product on launch before buying we're just gonna be in the same pit like we have been, year after year
there is another way to see if the game will reignite their love, however that requires something most CoD players lack: patience.
Patience until reviews and actual gameplay release, so you can take a look at that, as most of the time this does give you a good scope of what the game is like, because trailers are always made to make a game look good, while reviews aren't. they're there to give an honest opinion.
and that's why I won't be buying the game until i have seen reviews of it.
@theshyguy9855 gameplay release and reviews sadly don't give you the "actual" feeling when you want to get a certain game, playjng it for yourself is the way to get the feeling how it actually feels unfortunately.
If only developers do the free trials more often so people can decide
No, not really. There are free weekends, many modes are F2P, you can check shooting and moving mechanics there. Like shyguy said, patience is what they lack.
They could simply watch it on RUclips….. they’re wasting their money
I will watched people plays it honestly

“Madden fans”: First time?
This is problem with live service games. Cod is the prime example.
They can half release out game and then it takes 6 seasons of content so basically a whole year after the initial release, for it to be be like how it shouldve been at launch.
And unfortunately yet another studio has to pick up the slack and fix the problems everyone had with IW because the employees at IW just don't care about the community unless everyone bands against them.
Well live service cod could be great but only if they do it right like I've been saying for awhile now to make everyone happy community, shareholders, devs, is real simple make two cods the treyarch game black ops reboot for classic arcade cod and zombies, tatical cod=iw modern warfare release both the same year for 40 bucks a piece since there's only like half the game at release anyway compared to the old games then from there release battlepasses every6 months with 4 new maps for multiplayer and 6 new guns for each game gives people plenty of time to complete passes and equals the same amount of stuff added you'd get free but for two games so you'd be getting double free content sale the BP's for 20 bucks like they have been then also release a new content pack for each game 4 zombies/extinction mode maps and a solo or coop campaign add on to continue the stories for each game sale it for 40 bucks campaign can be like 4hours long since they're normally only like 6to8 anyway do that for each game release them every 6 months just like the passes that would be a total 240 if you bought all passes and content packs for both games or 120 if you only like one game or 80 or 40 if you only care about certain parts of the game that's more money then they would be making before and more content for the community to enjoy also if they wish to continue the wz/dmz free to play game they can offer both games gun libraries and allow you to select which pass you want to work towards its a good way to make everyone happy shareholders get more money community gets more then double the content and the 10 devs they force to work on these games can be split 5/5 for each game with plenty of people to make quality content for the premium content packs and fix the game if an issue arises and they don't have to make a new game every year the file sizes already get massive as is mid as well make them just one big game and people can either support both or the one they like
Actually to be honest I’ll give this one a past too for modern warfare 2 they released so many maps at launch and content. People completely forgot they launched the game with 17 maps and many different type of game modes now compare it to most live service games they just released for or 5 maps on launch with barely any game modes. The issue with cod they just don’t do anything different or actually fix the bugs. Have to give them this, still felt like a completed game at launch at least

@@playerslayer6923 tbh after black ops 3 i bought cod mainly for doing youtube content if I wasnt doing yt I wouldnt have
The fact that this game has had less time than vanguard should really be saying something
Technically vanguard had less time then MWIII cause they had to come up and do a WW2 story from scratch after being taken off of their Cold War / Vietnam game with raven since they couldnt share creative ideas together so treyarch took control of it. MWIIIs plot and most of its gameplay content was already probably already developed by infinity ward and then activision made sledgehammer lead of the project and now they are just tweaking the game to what the community wants since infinity ward doesn’t seem to listen themselves
For the first couple years of Warzone my daughter bought some cosmetic packs for the COD Points so he could buy the Season Pass, then would grind through them to get enough points for next seasons' Season Pass, unfortunately he can no longer grind like that so he's forced to buy the Points, nowadays he barely even plays it because of the system rigging as well as removing Plunder.

As someone who hasn't played CoD in a long while, I keep hearing about how bad this series is for years. Every single time a new game is announced, gameplay and other stuff is revealed, then the game releases, everyone is disappointed (save for like 1 or 2 games in the past 10 years) but still buys the game which doesn't even give any incentive for the developers to do better. I renounced all support for the CoD franchise. I know that my purchase would be akin to a drop of water in the ocean, but I'm just sick and tired of the series getting worse with every new iteration. I actually liked MW 2019, to a degree (didn't play Cold War or Vanguard), but MW2 2022 made me realize, once more, that the series that I adored as a Teen was gone and replaced by an empty shell of a corporate cash grab. Then, not to mention how quickly they resigned on their whole, "oh, MW2 2022 will be the only CoD released for the next two or three years, and we aren't going to release a new CoD every year, going forward, as to push content development for existing titles."

I think a lot of players feel the same way especially since we all know for a fact this wasnt supposed to come out yet
Who said that the game was supposed to be a cheaper release? That was never a rumor. The rumor, which is looking likely, was that MW2 was going to have an extended year foregoing the 2023 full release. But Activision being Activision decided to have IW withhold all those plans and hodgepodge it into a full release. This information was back in January and yet no one complains until now? Y'all are wild.
Fr this is funny, I don’t even like cod right now. This is like saying BO4 was supposed to be dlc for BO3
to be fair, I think the problem is just as was stated in the video. MW3 ( upcoming ) seems to simply be an “updated” version of the current title. Whether or not that’s an issue is up to decide but it is definitely parasitic and quite literally a ripoff. Let’s use Skyrim as an example.. the price of the game was paid and more content continued to come out. With the way the cod franchise appears to be going there is a bad precedent being set where people are willing to continue to pay a company money for a half baked unfinished product. You wouldn’t pay for food that was undercooked so why would you pay for a game that isn’t worth the cost.

Did everybody forget that Activision said there wouldn't be a game this year and people were happy about that?
Glad to say i’ve been cod free since 2014. But npcs need to opene their eyes and stop buying cod and sports games with heavy monetization and no gameplay differences
With Makarov coming in, I wouldn't be surprised if this is an ACT 1 promotion for the real Modern Warfare III down the line or something. I don't believe it for a second.
Most likely Modern Warfare IV in two years
I just feel bad for treyarch because they always have to fix everything the other two dev teams mess up. Treyarch hasn’t been able to work on their own game where they haven’t had to restart or take over someone else’s project since black ops 3 and that game was amazing.
CoD 2024 will be there first complete call of duty since black ops 3... wow
I agree with this. Cod burned me out when they gave us that ww2 game after Cold War. The new cod wasn’t fun to grind so I quite in season 2. I completely expected mw3 to be more of the same expensive looking garbage. And 1:50 in you basically just said we’re gonna get less than what we’re getting now and if that is true I’m gonna sit back and watch the suckers buy it
I got baulders gate 3 to play. I remember in black ops 2 it cost 1 dollar for a cosmetic to your gun and it worked on every gun.
Activision: "Here's DOME that was in the WZ map, now in MP"
Me: "You do know there's other maps that are in WZ... that can be in MP as well you know..."
Activision: "And I will pretend I can't hear you"
tbh all CODs have been like this optimus, but at least they made the effort to change things up back then. Now they really don’t care. However, you are right. The community is to be blamed because they keep buying it and Activision sees that it works.
The game recently released a Snoop Dogg character skin for $20 and people are buying it. I personally would be embarrassed to be seen "Flexing" such a skin but IW/Activision knows there are tools out there that will actually reach into their wallet and pull out twenty whole dollars for one character skin.
Call of Duty isn't going anywhere. It will make the money it always makes.
Also they released the same skin twice. They released it in Vanguard last yr too.
Most AAA studios have become soulless and that's why everyone loves to play indie games, because those developers make games that are meant to be fun and not to try to make the most money.
Tbh the only reason I even got 2019 was for campaign. My brother got mw2 bc he just wanted a casual shooter, so I got the benefit of playing that campaign too. The only thing I’d want from 3 is the campaign, but there’s no standalone mode I can buy so there’s no point until it’s on sale
3:08 sounds like the same thing I felt playing classic, classic BC, and classic WOTLK. Blizz did everything they could to change so much to set the game up for botters and gold sellers that it isn't even close to what it use to be. They removed dungeon finder so you had to sit in a city all day and look for a group if you wanted to raid almost no one was doing free to roll it was all pay to raid and pay for drops. I always say dealing with blizz is like waking up to them in your room each morning and they punch you in the face just to sell you a bag of ice but after you pay they dump the ice out and say it's coming later. No matter what I tried to do in classic WOTLK it always ended in me just hating my life for even trying to play wow again.
Ever since they announced this, ive never felt so disappointed in my life, im not gonna bother buying it. Even if its on sale at its most cheapest price, this is a new low for COD
I’ve long given up on the multiplayer but I have been impressed by the campaigns of the previous games. They are fun to play and havw a decent story
Right? Nobody talks about the campaigns😅
Yeah but they aren’t worth 70&/€. Other games with greater and longer stories are more worth for this price like rdr2 as an example or ghost of Tsushima
The last cod I ever bought was bo4 as I mainly play zombies, but it was it didn’t really hit the mark for me in that regard or in the little bit of multiplayer that I tried. Bo3 was the last good cod to me that had real heart and soul put into its zombies mode, consistent bangers and an excellent conclusion with chronicles
I remember when I used to get so hyped and would get the $100 edition for my birthday every year. Can’t even remember the last time a cod has caught my attention
Can you tell me which COD i should get, I haven't played any yet but i really wanna get into it, What game should i start with?
@@mangoooohwuwywthe original modern warfare games are good
@@mangoooohwuwywXDefiant.
@@YummyCracker Lol, no. The netcode and hit registration in that game is terrible. CoD is worth getting over that for the gunplay, alone.
@@anthonymolina7416 okay thank you smm
Least obvious activision cash grab
Last CoD game I played was BO2. Nothing has ever duplicated the late 2000s/ early 2010s shine.
The "just say you're broke" crowd are already out in full force
I'm still waiting for the Gunsmith feature we were promised during the MW2 Reveal Event. The one that allows us to swap receivers and attachments to build our own guns...Really tired of CoD promising everything and giving nothing. Definitely wont be purchasing MW3.
Sue
What?
I think you misunderstood what they meant because you've been able to do what they said with the receivers since launch.
@@hhaste It is possible that I misunderstood. My understanding was that we would be able to create our own guns entirely. If that is incorrect, then I apologize for the original comment above.
I haven’t bought a cod since mw2019 so for someone like me it seems cool to be able to get mw3 knowing it’s basically 2 years worth of content but than I feel as if I’m falling into there trap
My cousins and I have been having a blast on MW2. Wasn’t planning on getting MW3 though anyway. It’s just MW2 with extra steps
MW2 is just MW with extra steps.
MWIII is just MWII with extra steps.
Black Ops 2 is just Black Ops with extra steps.
The cod bar is sinking so deep James Cameron won't be able to raise it
Checked outta that hotel a looonnggg time ago, tired of giving my money to a company that doesn't want to put any substance into their product
I think these new COD games seem fun. I genuinely like the campaigns, and they don’t disappoint.
70$ is crazy
@DiamondGlow44 Yeah, I just play the campaign. That's mostly what I'm after.
