Yes, it definitely was a deep revelation and it's one with which millions and millions of Black women around the world can identify. Having no choice but to *silence righteous anger* out of fear of being labeled the Angry Black Woman. And I love her point of silencing that anger to play Isis but then STILL being labeled the villain. Par for the course being Black in this country.
@@sharw9621 You've totally missed the mark, not to mention that isn't what she was saying.... at all. Everyone should have the RIGHT to express a range of emotions, including "anger," whereas Black women are often vilified for it. No one's suggested using *violence* or to go around unjustifiably angry, but to be able to express that emotion if it IS justified without some irritational scrutiny.
Also, not her pointing out how the polled public STILLl saw her as a VILLAIN, despite her showing restraint. That proves the very point that she was making in this video, which if you have good comprehension and listening skills, you'd be able to pick up.
She has a way with words and imagery and can tell a story!
