Refrain from being confused by man's philosophy. The name "Jesus" is in English for English-speaking believers to use and call on God to manifest God's glory. God owns every tongue, so faith in the name of Jesus is not a function of the nomenclature but the power of God to salvation. Practically speaking, when you call on the name of Jesus, demons and satan will bow. So, God honours the name of Jesus when called by those who believe in Him. God bless.
So i can translate the name in my language and call the language name and God will also understand whose office i was calling. So you don't make God an English man . Dr. Damina is an excellent teacher who encourages everyone to study the Bible independently. I was examining the phrase “gave him the name that is above every name” and found that the Greek term used is "Kyrios," which means Lord, Master, or Owner. In ancient Greek culture, this term was used to show respect or authority, indicating someone who had control or power over others. In the New Testament and Christian theology, "Kyrios" is often used as a title for Jesus Christ, highlighting His supreme authority and divinity. While using the name of Jesus Christ is important, it's crucial to grasp the revelation and power encapsulated in "Kyrios." Dr. Damina is making a significant impact on Christianity by encouraging a deeper understanding of the faith. I recommend delving further into God’s Word before passing judgment on his teachings. Although I don’t agree with everything he teaches, I appreciate his dedication to encouraging deeper study of the Bible. Well done, Dr. Damina, for inspiring a greater commitment to God's Word.

Isaac show. Abel Damina has replaced the Holy Spirit with Philosophy. Paul was speaking to the Gentiles which we are part of. This is why he doesn't bring the Holy Spirit but uses Greek or Hebrew words to the fore.
In Philippians 2:9-11, it is written: "Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." The verse suggests that God gave Jesus a name that is above every other name, but it doesn't necessarily imply that God gave Jesus a different name than "Jesus." Instead, it emphasizes the supremacy and authority of the name "Jesus." In this context, the "name that is above every name" likely refers to the title or position of authority that God bestowed upon Jesus, rather than a new personal name. The name "Jesus" itself becomes a powerful symbol of his lordship and dominion over all creation. So, while God exalted Jesus and gave him a supreme position, it doesn't mean that God gave him a new name other than "Jesus." The name "Jesus" remains the same, but its significance and authority are elevated to the highest level.
People of God, if you watch and they take the name Jesus from you, it's your fault. Jesus is the name. Is name was Jesus on earth after resurrection the name didn't change God only add authority and power to the name. Don't let Damina confused you

Mr. Able Damina, please do your research again sir, you are wrong... Despite the assertion of some that Jesus’ Hebrew name should be spelled “Yahshua,” there is no evidence for this name in any known ancient Hebrew or Aramaic sources. In the Judeo-Greek language of the New Testament, "Jesus" is written as Ἰησοῦς (Iēsous) is written as Ἰησοῦς (Iēsous). Translated back into Hebrew/Aramaic, the name is Yeshua (ישׁוּע) or Yehoshua (יהושׁוע). The name Yeshua (ישׁוּע) was common in the Second Temple Period and appears almost thirty times in the Hebrew Bible as well (e.g., Ezra 3:2; Neh 3:19; 1 Chron 24:11). "Yeshua" (Jesus) is a shortened version of “Yehoshua" (Joshua). If Yehoshua (יהושׁוע) means “the Lord saves”, then Yeshua (ישׁוּע) means either “he [i.e., the Lord] saves” or simply "salvation." In fact, Judeo-Greek does not distinguish between "Yeshua" and "Yehoshua," transliterating both as Ἰησοῦς (Iēsous or "Jesus"). The origins of Jesus’ name in Hebrew probably include both the verbs meaning "to be" (היה) and "to save" (ישע). Matthew’s Gospel states the reason for calling the Messiah "Jesus," in that direct linguistic connection exists between his name and the salvation of God's people: “You shall call his name ‘Jesus,’ for he will save his people from their sins” (1:21). Insofar as Jesus' name comes from the Hebrew word for "salvation," Matthew's argument makes perfect sense: Miriam's son must be called "salvation" precisely because “he/the Lord will save” his people from their sins. The problem with "Yahshua" is not that the original name of Jesus cannot come from both roots (in fact, this may well be the case, since "Jesus" is so closely related to "Yehoshua"). The main issue is this: while the name "Yeshua" is widely attested in Jewish sources, the spelling/pronunciation of "Yahshua" is not attested at all. In the end, we must agree that even though it may sounds appropriate for "Yah to save" from a theological perspective--and thus to speculate that Jesus' name might have been "Yahshua"-- until some evidence is found to the contrary, the name "Yahshua" exists in the hypothetical realm alone; that is, "Yahshua" is only a real name in the minds of those who argue for it.

Are you aware that Arab Translation of Jesus is Isah? So Label is different from Name. You can give the son of God label in your language but the office is the name as Messiah and saviour.
While using the name of Jesus Christ is important, it's crucial to grasp the revelation and power encapsulated in "Kyrios."
Dr.

Well, I believe that when you call the name of someone, you are invoking the presence of that person. For example, When someone calls my name, the person wants my attention or want me to show up. So at the time my name is mentioned, then my presence is needed.
See, everything is not left to theology. I believe the name of Jesus carry weight and power. It was the name of Jesus that someone called that got me saved cause I was about to die of paralysis.. Abel Damina has replaced the Holy Spirit with Philosophy.
Paul was speaking to the Gentiles which we are part of.
This is why he doesn't bring the Holy Spirit but uses Greek or Hebrew words to the fore.
Damiba still has a lot to learn.
In Philippians 2:9-11, it is written:
"Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father."
The verse suggests that God gave Jesus a name that is above every other name, but it doesn't necessarily imply that God gave Jesus a different name than "Jesus." Instead, it emphasizes the supremacy and authority of the name "Jesus."
In this context, the "name that is above every name" likely refers to the title or position of authority that God bestowed upon Jesus, rather than a new personal name.

You are right, just dont call the name Jesus which is a usual name in Spain. People bear the name Jesus in Spain, Brazil Portugal and in some part of the world.
Jesus answered to his name Jesus when he was on earth contrary to your teaching sir.see below:

And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.

The Bible you read is the translated one. Read the original, that is what Abel Damina is saying. No need arguing, you are right that is name to us in this part is Jesus. In the Greek, he is called Ἰησοῦς (Iēsous). In Yoruba and may be in Igbo - Jesu. In all he is still the same when you recognise the authority in the Name you are calling.
@samuelesezobor3221
🤣🤣🤣🤣 .You are really funny walahi.
So all Bible translators did not know Greek till you and Dr Damina arrived on the scene abi?
@@ezekieltimothy421 What are you saying about Bible translators?
Damina is preaching to a congregation, if your Pastor comes up with a teaching to bring clarity to what you feel is the normal which is not clear based on your theology or faith would you fight him?
All you need is more insight using other scriptures.
Are we talking about Bible translators or what is expected from the Almighty God that has giving us the scripture.
No matter what translation God remains God.
Now my question is: Will an unbeliver call the Name of Jesus and works for him?
Even the so called Churchee people do you think the name would work without the Knowledge, Authority and Power of the Person called in that name?
Common we are an intelligent being and we should be more curious about the asertions of Abel Damina. I dont go to his Church and i dont know him but when he speaks or says something out of my Faith and I cannot defend my own Faith then its time to go back and study more and ask questions to the Holy Spirit who inspired the scriptures
He quoted and stopped. That passage says, "Therefore God hath highly exalted him and given him a name that at the mention of the name JESUS every knee shall bow of things in heaven and on earth...
Abel Damina is a confusionist
Trying to understand Abel Daminas perspective gives more power to us as Christians. Not walking religiously and not knowing the essence of the Name we call. God has giving him a name above every name, is just saying knowing the AUTHORITY, POWER and OFFICE in the Name: Jesus - English; Jesu - Yoruba and Igbo; Iēsous - Ancient Greek; Yehoshua-Yeshua (In Hebrew) is what make Philipian 2:8-11 valid for us.
Its a bible study and its enlighten our knowledge of the name we are calling.
Conclusion: They that know there God shall be strong and do exploit - Dan 11:32b
@ovieejenakevbe the Scripture never said at the mention....it says at the name!
@ovieejenakevbe7915 you dont even read the bible as you said, that same place you write now go back and read word to word there's no mention there he said at the name of Jesus, what Dr Damina is trying to make people understand is the authority in the name of Christ Jesus, is very important you know the authority in the name that is when you work in power youvhave the full understanding of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, you not been praying all those prayers some pastors and christian every enemy of my life holding me die by fine, prayer our Lord Jesus Christ and the Apostle never pray many pastors and christian are praying it is lack of understanding not to study bible carefully, theres a knowing if you dont know forget it.
@@logykays2673 what does the Bible mean by saying "AT THE MENTION OF THE NAME JESUS" every knee should bow... Did the Bible say at the authority of Jesus? You people should stop misinterpreting the scripture out of context. That Abel is coming out now to say something different from what you've known doesn't make him an authority of knowledge... Remember when the apostles were asked in what babe do you do these miracles, what was their response? In the name of Jesus...
@@ovieejenakevbe7915 my question did you see the word mention
Talking about a name being an influence; now is the influence of gun lost if it is taken from a French country to an English country. Both the name, influence, fear and usage remains intact no matter where and when. So Jesus’s resurrection isn’t a point of saying an unknown name has being given to him.
Why will God want to put us in perplexity of what to call Jesus and yet want is to still pray in that name????
Why didn’t he go ahead to read the nest verse of that same scripture. Mtscheeeww. May God save our generation.
Why is he confusing this people. He didn't complete the reading Philippians 2: 9-10. Verve 10 mentioned the name as "Jesus"
Demon can never obey without the name of Jesus.
Jesus, son of David, have mercy on me. Is that not in the Bible?
Not Jesus his real name is Yesua call Yesua not Jesus...He has same name with Joshua...Yesua, Yehusuah not Jesus....
THE BIBLE WAS WRITTEN IN HEBREW GREEK ARAMAIC. In the original Text His name was Yeshua Hamashiach. Jesus was the Name the english people translated it to.
What do you know, how many versions of the Bible have you studied? He is correct, The bible was not written in English🤓 ,the original bible is written in greek and Hebrew, king james is the one who translated it to English what you are reading and their are so many other people who translated the bible just like king james, listen to understand , the message is very clear." Many of you don't even know this, and yet talk about reading the bible for yourself " just to remain ignorant 🤓.
Noise everywhere but didn't stop those that know the Bible to be the redemptive testimonies of our Lord Jesus Christ to keep speaking it as it's. Truth can only be discovered because it remains an event.

This man is destroying Christianity, he needs to be put in order
What happen to verse 10 of Philippians 2
Acts 9:5-16 King James Version (KJV)
And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do?
Why would Dr Damina say Jesus never answered the name "Jesus"? Sir, please, stop this.
Lol... that's what the people who interpreted the bible in our present day called him. His name is Yeshua or Yeheshuwa. There is no later J during the days of that name. 😅😅😅😅😅😅. Stop acting dumb bro.
Jesus acknowledged His name as "Jesus" even from Heaven, cos He said to Saul of Tarsus " I 'am'Jesus, not I was Jesus.
@praisegod1124 Yehusuah or Yesua that's his name nothing like Jesus oga. The real true name is Yesua or Yehusuah same name as Joshua in Hebrew
@@eniolataiwo9832 Every language has a way of calling his name. Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa and every other language has a way of calling his name. When the name is mentioned, we know the personality that is called upon. Whether it is Jesus or Yeshua, every language has its way of calling him. Just like the way Esan people call him Jesu. What you are saying doesn't make any sense.
The problem is that Abel Damina has a sweet voice
The name is in verse 10
Some times he wants to be different from the crowd for no good reason.
Phil 2 : 9_11 completed it. We pray in the name of Jesus,Php.2:9-11 | KJV
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
He didn't go further, that man just gave one verse,,,,he should read to verse 10 and get reply
My issue is that why is it that after teaching the so called message, why does it generate confusion?
Reading the comments i just realized that so many people have a comprehension problem.
But Jesus said this himself if you ask anything in my name I will do it for you
Listen well
Bartemaeus the bind call Him Jesus the son of david ,( mark 10: 47) and He answered😮
If you read Phil 2 from the beginning Jesus left his title as “God” and became man but after he died and resurrected, God the father restored him to that status and gave him back the name and title “God”. So Jesus though he was called “son of Man” and “Jesus” while he was here now has a new title added which is “God”. Think about it there is only one person greater than all and that’s God so his name is the only name that can be above all.
Read Heb 1:8 to see the name God gave him after resurrection :
But about the Son he says, “Your throne, O GOD, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.
Jesus and his disciples went to Jericho. And as they were leaving, they were followed by a large crowd. A blind beggar by the name of Bartimaeus son of Timaeus was sitting beside the road. 47 When he heard that it was Jesus from Nazareth, he shouted, “Jesus, Son of David,[a] have pity on me
Abeg what of verse 10 to 12
The name is more in the authority than the label. If you dont understood that the name given to him is an authority after resurrection, then you need to start reading the bible afresh
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣hitatooooo!!!!!!!!!!!🤣🤣🤣
What does vs 10 says?
Before Damina's teaching:
Christian: "I cast you out in the name of Jesus!" (Demon checks out screaming "no not that name!")
After Damina's teaching:
Christian: "I cast you out in the name of....huh...I am not sure...huh"
(Christian tries again)
Christian: "I cast you out in the authority of...huh...not sure!"
Demon Possessed man: "You people are really confused these days...well...good for our business!"
RUN! From this high sounding doctrines that have no biblical balance!
Philippines 2 v 9 -10 called the name of Jesus why Dr Abel damina stop at ves 9 only in reading hummmm may God help us ooo
John said to Jesus, “Teacher, we saw someone using your name to cast out demons, but we told him to stop because he wasn't in our
group.” “Don't stop him!” Jesus said. “No one who performs a miracle in my name will soon be able to speak evil of me. Anyone who is not against us is for us.
Mark 9:38-41
As funny as it sounds, Dr is wrong. First he can't claim to Know this in particular more than christians of over 2000years.
Acts.3.6 - Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
Acts.19.13 - Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.
These also means Apostle Paul was also preaching in the name of Jesus. So Dr should tell us which name did the Apostles of old and believers of over 200years have been casting out devils and healing the sick if praying with the name of Jesus was wrong
Some people don't really understand the difference between at the same and in the name, one is lebel the other one is authority, the illustration very clear some local government chairman now a governor some name difference authority.
If the Bible didn't teach us to pray in the name of Jesus, how do you explain:
Acts 3:6
Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
You just meet golible people and confused them .
Mercy will speak for you
This man is actually confusing himself and his members
At the mention of the name of Jesus every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord , the only mediator between man and God is Jesus, and whosever believes that Jesus is the son of God is the son of God and that he died to take away the sin of mankind is safe, and works in his way, that is all I need, those that are not reading their Bible to know the basic truth can continue to be confused, nobody can confused those that read their Bibles 😮
Please read your scripture and tell us where you got "At the mention of the name of Jesus ...". Very simple, different languages have a name to Yeshua. English says Jesus. Yoruba and Igbo say Jesu. The same name recognizing the office in the Name make Philipians 2:8-11 valid. Its all about the authority.
There is verse 10 and 11... Read the Bible and know the Bible for yourself
Angel Gabriel said his name shall be called Jesus
Why did he not read verse 10
Of Phil 2:9 -10
Nawa oo
Confusion.....by their friuts we shall know them LOL
@@TracyUhiara Get the full teaching, he never said don't pray in the name jesus, the point is saying the name " jesus " is not what gets your prayers answered, rather you must pray with the understanding of the authority of him that answers the name and his finished works, the whole biblical explanation is to make you understand that saying the name is not what makes it prayer, with or without saying the name at the end of a prayer, it will be answered because it is not an incantation or a law, Jesus Christ lives in us.
Please could you keep your confusion to yourself
Thank you 😮
@@TracyUhiara Alot of human beings like you answers the name Jesus , famous footballers and many other, the difference is this our own " Jesus is Lord " over all, that is why hence we make people understand it is the authority of GOD that answers prayers, so people don't idolize the letters .
@@TracyUhiara Yeshua Hamashiach is the true Hebrew name but now that you say " Jesus " which is the English translation of Yeshua did the authority Change? The answer is NO , that is the point the authority of the one who answers the name is what answers prayers.
Sorry, I have been born again for 28 years now GO AWAY , I guess what I said stung you in the spirit
The Lord has given us a name above every other name, at the name of JESUS every knee must BOW
As a deliverance minister, I've seen that wonderful name bring freedom and deliverance
Depart from me !!!! The name of Jesus will be glorified and not diminished with false doctrines gotten from self imposed importance
You r very correct in that statement.
What is the name given by the angel before Jesus was born?

The people who asked question were organised
The name jesus is not just a name
Damina nevse said Jesus is a wrong name.
After resurrection he's Jesus Christ
Even Jesus did not answer the ruler of Jews.
