Kathleen! There is no link between aluminium and breast canc3r :) It's just a huge misconception that companies then ran with, so unless aluminium irritates your skin, there is no need to avoid it. Labmuffin, who is a chemist, made a great video and blog post on the subject.

I found this out recently and I’m so relieved because anything without aluminum has been so irritating to my skin or made me smell even worse 🥴
I think it is more likely that there is something hereditary going on in her family. Kathleen please do regular screenings and be proactive. Love you!

Aluminum in antiperspirant does not cause or increase the chances of breast cancer. There's many studies on it that proves that it doesn't have any correlation. And only one sketchy ass work that says it does. Deodorant, without aluminum, however let your skin breath and that's a big plus for deodorants. When I know I won't leave the house I try to use deodorants. I had kidney cancer and made all the questions I could to my doctor.
empties/products you didn't like videos are just as helpful as monthly favorites! the mini-reviews and breakdown of why some stuff didn't work for you is super helpful for people like me who have the same skin type :D

Lol that kosas deodorant is my holy grail, it's the ONLY deodorant that lasts a full 24 hours on me and I don't smell at all...I get rashes with almost every other natural deodorant (I've tried around 30 different kinds) and even native sensitive I get stinky after 3 hours and get rashes...it just goes to show how different everyone's body chemistry is

The tatcha cleanser that’s in the same colour packaging as their water cream is actually really good! It doesn’t feel like just a cleanser, just gets the job done, it feels like it’s actually DOING something on your face. I do the 60 second cleanse rule, where I massage my face for a full minute with my cleanser to give it time to work :)
I absolutely love the empties I don't know just satisfying to see all the products everybody continuously uses up or what will take the place of something else

I think so many of us are trying to find good ones, whether for health reasons like yours or due to allergies like me, and it can be such a struggle (particularly when you also have an allergy to baking soda). It’s one of the product types that are really neglected on beauty/skincare RUclips, so please talk about it!

Breast cancer is scary, my friend also had to get a growth removed a few months ago but she’s better now. I’m so excited to finally be able to see her now that we are both vaccinated and I have so many gifts for her to celebrate her recovery! ❤️

The Kosas deodorant is my favorite ever. I love that it’s clear and doesn’t leave white stuff on my pits and clothes and the fragrance free actually neutralizes the stink for me so that I don’t have to use something with fragrance.
I absolutely love it too so when she started talking about it I was like "nooooooo". I have both versions and won't get another brand. Tried the drunk elephant one and hated it. Have wanted to try native but have been wary of it
