They haven't started building it yet though but hopefully soon they will. I commented on their video telling them about this so they could see how easily you guys put the engines together. I think their trying to directly connect the crank of the front engine to the front pulley of the rear engine so we'll see how it turns out. Should be pretty bad ass!
Not so cold that you have to leave a motor running!...…. But, when that old sun goes down like a rock you gotta wear mittens which are fun to work precision with. Fortunately, not so cold you can't drink coffee and film. (Of course you keep a car running with warm coffee and donuts inside). "No booze guys until we get back to home base." Nice video!
You should have weld the top of the 4 engines together to make them stay synchronized. When they were shaking side to side it was getting desynchronized, and by that making the motor(s) much less efficient.

Hold my vodka.
This project was pretty cool. The bootedboiz, should check them out, are trying to figure out how to build a twin Honda engine car in a Toyota supra calling it the 2kz cuz instead of putting a 2jz engine their putting 2 honda k20's in it. They haven't started building it yet though but hopefully soon they will. I commented on their video telling them about this so they could see how easily you guys put the engines together. I think their trying to directly connect the crank of the front engine to the front pulley of the rear engine so we'll see how it turns out. Should be pretty bad ass!
I assume each would have to be placed at the same #1 cylinder TDC position? I could imagine mistimed engines would fight each other, catastrophically.
Actually the best way would be putting each engine 90° to the one that comes after it that way they all fire in sequence instead of at the same time
Every time I watch. show on this channel it makes me want a Lada even more. Those things are tanks.
I can't help wondering how that thing would 'fly' if it had 4 healthy engines, and set up well-balanced etc!

A new wheel alignment wouldn't be unnecesarry
4 Lada engines running at the same time - now there's a miracle.
I think that was 2 1/2 if they were lucky! The rest was just along for the ride.

You should have weld the top of the 4 engines together to make them stay synchronized. When they were shaking side to side it was getting desynchronized, and by that making the motor(s) much less efficient.
Yes, all engines bolted and welded solid to the same frame. No rubber mounts.
