come spend 4 nights/5 (almost) days in Kyoto, Japan with me and my sister, Lili Lai - this was the first leg of our 2 month long Asia trip and it started off with a very chaotic and hectic busy schedule: from running after our Shinkansen (Japan's Bullet Train) to doing day trips to Nara, booking a $800/night Ryokan with our own private onsen, and travelling to Osaka for dinner..this is one travel vlog you do not want to skip past.

There definitely is! You just have to be smart about booking your seats if you want to be "closer" to your luggage.

could I ask a quick question - are you able to purchase a JR pass at the station or does it have to be in advanced? (if advanced how does the activation process work). Thanks a bunch!! Looking forward to your next videos
Thanks for watching! Regarding the JR Pass: you can either purchase it online (which is what we did) or at the Narita Airport station. When you purchase it online or in person, you can pick the "activation" date.
One thing we would do next time around is to have it delivered to us in advance or purchase it from an official retailer in Canada to skip the line at the airport (for pick up).
