Very nice place to live,I lived and worked there in 1986 for durrett shepherd steel company as a truck driver and I loved every minute of my time there 💯
@@ericsierra-franco7802 just curious, my time there was nice, when did happen. I used to go to Phoenixville and king of Prussia and have dinner quite a lot. Wow things have changed. Unfortunately.
@@dannunakifuque7795 Unfortunately nothing stays the same. Where I worked, the community where I lived was friendly, part of my past I will always remember, just me personally.oh loved Mrs Smith 🥧 pies
Phoenixville is where they filmed the movie The Blob. In the past 10 years they really renovated the downtown area and it's really nice with shops and restaurants. You should check it out sometime.
I grew up in Pottstown, but haven’t been back in many years. I heard it’s changed a lot. It was the kind of place where you knew everyone or knew someone that knew them. My parents went to the same school with my friends’ parents, our grandparents went to school together, etc..the nuclear power plant there would sound the emergency alarms, the first Monday of every month to test them & we had emergency drills in school.
Nice video 👍🏼 yo I wonder what goes through your pops head when you speak during these tours. I’m referring to the fluid nature of your conversations how you effortlessly flow from topic to topic ....I’m sure he’s proud of you, 😎🙏🏼
Pottstown used to be VERY vibrant back in the 1950s-1960s. A lot of commerce and places to spend your money. Clothing stores, furniture stores, the old five and dime stores, toy stores and record shops. The New York Store. Van Buskirk's. Mrs. Smith pies used to be a significant presence. Ya spelled Schuylkill wrong.

Nice place to live? Pottstown is one of highest crime communities in Montgomery County. It's depressing!
