My favorite anime is the 2003 version of Astro Boy. It has the perfect balance of episodic stories while also having an overarching arc in the background with serialized stories and its themes are still relevant to this day. Shame it didn't hit with mainstream Anime audience in the English speaking market due to the poor marketing and the dub removing the amazing music background and changing aspects of the story. Though it's starting to get a lot more exposure because someone properly fansubbed the Japanese version online.
As for my favourite anime, it’s hard to say. There are a few that I like, such as Pokémon, Kirby: Right Back at Ya, Sgt. Frog, and depending on my mood, Axis Powers Hetalia.
Danganronpa is 65/35 on the Goodness Scale. The 65% is the good premise and rules of the world, the 35% bad is the generally weird and contrived finales and way too many tropes.
I really like Bleach, including the filler episodes (they were funny). Gotta love those fight scenes and philosophical speeches, like Mayuri Kurotsuchi's speech on perfection.
my favourite gundam series is Tri, it's the closest thing to being realistic and it features Gundam from other series, even the SD ones. Also how come we don't hear from Pyro this time?
Favorate anime? Well if I have to say recent anime then I would have to say Spy X Family or Dress up Darling / Cyberpunk edgerunners If we are talking about non recent then then I'd say Dragon Maid, Mob Physco, Overlord (hypped for the movie), Violet Evergarden
As far as I'm concerned, all 9 mercenaries are wrong on which Anime series is the best (although both Dragon Ball Z and One Piece come close). I'm not an expert on Anime (and I don't watch a lot of it); but if I had to guess, I'd say the best Anime (other than Studio Ghibli movies) ever made is Neon Genesis Evangelion. As far my personal favorite, I'd have to say that it's a tie between Sailor Moon (the original series) and Pokemon. Btw, I agree with Demoman that Dragon Ball Z is just shirtless guys screaming for 30 minutes; although if you think about it, a lot of Anime tends to have lots of screaming - just look at how much screaming there is in My Neighbor Totoro.
Black clover, it’s Naruto done right and each character and the world has tons of depth, so deep you could get lost in it. Also the main character actually looks like he has gotten stronger unlike other anime where the mc gets god tier strength but stays skinny, overlord is also a good pick, a whole change up on the stereotypical anime and makes it about the villains, beautiful. Ps wrath nice pick, I like log horizon as well

My favorite anime is Transformers Armada, Sonic X, Transformers Cybertron RID, Gundam, Sailor Moon, Persona 4 and 5 Animations ones, My Hero Academia is a really good one so good, Pokemon and Digimon. I guess if i have to pick the best of all i'mma have to say My Hero Academia love the plot, morals, characters, and animation style especially during the fight scenes. My favorite anime is a tie between Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood and Black Lagoon. Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood does well with worldbuilding and bringing in likable characters and cool stuff for the plot. My one gripe is that some of the stuff from 2003 was better, like the Elrics meeting Hughes when they're still 12 and 10 and basically becoming stepsons to him, that's the one bit they should've brought over from the 2003 anime. As for Black Lagoon, violence, swearing, the idea of trying to stay pure in an environment of darkness and corruption, politicing between rival gangs, and making us love characters that are all insane in some way, shape, or form.

I gotta give credit to One Piece for going as long as it has (though it's far from my favorite), and Saiko is a pretty good SMG4 character all things considered. Although Heavy's topping choice of sausage, ham and bacon was the best of the mercs in Pizza Fortress.
I love Naruto, even beside the obvious flaws. Good world building, cool characters and one of the most complex powersystems of all time. But my favorite is black clover. A good zero to hero story where the side characters have their moments to shine even in the current saga and don't get forgotten halfway through ( *cough* Konoha 13 *Cough* )
