Nahi...Rooms randomly allot hote hain so roommates bhi random hote hain...I mean your roommate can be from a different branch (most probably he will be) but you can't choose him. Toh na toh tum floor aur room decide kr skte ho aur na hi roommate. Haan, 2nd year mein you have to shift from hall 13 to some other hall and then you can decide if you want to change your roommate with some other guy from your wing (i repeat..."from your wing"). So overall, for the whole 4 years (or at least 3 years), you have to live with your wing (group of ~30 boys) which is randomly allotted on the day of admission.

Your dropper that means you have basic Idea of all remaining chapters Then Start doing Y24 JEE Mains all Questions Papers See question, try to solve else look solution But don't mug it up understand it Assuming you know basic concepts of other chapters ....

2 students in single seater room and 3 in double seater room. Very bad situation. Students should get proper accommodation. 😢😢. One of the best academics but administration should also look into this maty. Newer IITs have far better hostel facilities.
The number of seats increased that's why the crunch occurred...New hostels are under construction...so hopefully the situation will be improved very soon.
It's ok mam, vaise bhi very few time they spend in room, food is very good at kanpur as far as I know and hostel too, so be happy with it as we r in country of 145crores
