What helped me the most was learning speed stuff gets too hot because you’re welding too slow the issue I had was when turning down the amps it would start cold then be perfect for a bit then after 6-8” would be back the same under cut issues you have to speed up your travel speed and it helps to evenly heat up the work piece

No matter the amperage you can fix that undercut by just feeding rod into the puddle instead of just laying the wire down and running over it
