Thank you. Owner of Peugeot Rifter myself this helped me to fix fault code P20EE only pending. Due to high position of the injector on exhaust I actually managed to reach down just from opening the bonnet. Thank you for your great videos, Jimmy.
Hi Jimmy, great video of how to deal with a Peugeot P20EE fault. I had my 3008 for a service with Mongey Plunkett Peugeot in Dublin and they told me I had this problem. The quote for the cost of repair was nearly €4,000 and included 4 new injectors and a new catalytic converter. I don't know what to do, but your video has given me some hope. Should I ask for a second opinion from someone else ? Many thanks Paul
Hi Jimmy I have a Peugeot 5008 2019, same issue but it wasn't too sooty, did have some crystallisation but before the clip around the perforated barrel. Mine only has 1 code - P20EE. After I cleaned the injector I cleared the code, drove the car for about 30 minutes and code returned. First Engine light came on with message "engine fault - repair needed" second was the ad blue light and the message Emissions Fault. Do you have any further advice to get fixed while avoiding thousands? My guess is the dealer will want to fit a new tank, sensor, injector, etc etc. I have it booked for them to take a look in a couple weeks but keen to fix myself. Appreciate the videos!
I wish there was that resourceful and educated mechanics in my country :D I've been in three services, including my authorized service and two of them didn't know whats going on and the authorized one told me that my car is absolutelly fine with no issues at all. :D
@@malcos007 Czech Republic..and I didn't solved it. Authorized service told me it sometimes happens and that my car is completely okay. I think its just a dirty nox sensor that needs to be cleaned (or the worse way, replaced)
@@malcos007 I have two errors, one of them is the same like on video. That can mean a lot of things unfortunately :( Problem can be faulty NOX sensor which is showing bad values so that car automatically shows another error about DPF because they work together (dpf can be completely fine .... or not :D ) It's hard to pinpoint. Cheapest route is to clean everything and pray :D I heard, that if the icon is shining orange and sometimes turn off its not a big deal and you have to wait what happened next (if you dont want to pay for 2 nox sensors and DPF filter) ...but its stressful as hell :D
I had the same thing, same code on my Jaguar XE. I cleaned the injector nozzle and reset the code using my cheap FIXD reader and it's been fine ever since.
@@mad1toad I have two, a FIXD and a Nexpeak, and they both work. How are you trying to clear the codes? Because in the case of my XE, the codes can only be cleared with the engine off and the ignition on. Codes can't be cleared whilst the engine is actually running.
@@richiereyn Thank you that's helpful. I used a cheap bluetooth OBD2 scanner and also a plug-in one that I borrowed (can't remember the make), engine off, ignition on. Neither would even detect this particular error code, let alone reset it. The mechanic's Autel did though, so it was definitely there. This was a Vauxhall Combo Life, so perhaps it's a difference between the cars.
I have that code on a 2016 RRS with TD6 that keeps popping up. I have pulled off the injector and its clean and seems to work and pulled out the sensor and it appears clean and working.. "Bank 1" has me perplexed.. Is there more than 1 injector on the Td6. I only know of the one that is in the lower portion before the inline pressure valve before the pipes split going out the back end. "P20EE-92 Selective Catalyst reduction NOX catalyst efficiancy below threshold - Bank 1" Its a pestery bugger.. I have learned to reset the no start countdown but it always comes back on after about a 100 miles.. It runs buttery smooth until the light comes on and hten it seems develop a very slightly rougher idle.. It's like a boobie trap in the software that wants to force you into the dealer shop to drop another few $thousand.. Any insightful wisdom on this code with the TD6?
I have one of these in the workshop at the moment. It's a 2019 Peugeot 5008 with non start message in so many miles and the code P20EE. It's the third the injector has got completely 'coked' up. I am starting to think that maybe the engine isn't burning combustion well or maybe it has the wrong grade of oil in it? I would welcome your opinion if you get the time to respond. BTW, your videos are incredibly helpful, keep up the good work.
I had the same error, cleaned the injector, but the error appeared again. I even changed the damn injector and after 2000 km the error appeared again! Opel Combo Life, 2019 model! This error is driving me crazy! The car has only 63.000 km.
Had the same problem with Opel Grandland X 2019, after changing adblue injector the error code come up again in few days. Thinking about EGR replacement
Had this fault code on my K9 and the injector was blocked. However after refitting and reinitialisation the pump appears to be not be operating. Garage believes the pump has also failed and have recommended replacement. Is this a good shout??

Had one with p20ee no other faults only thing what helped to get rid of fault coming back was ecu software update

Brake clean doesn't mess up the dpf/scr/doc/pdq/xyz?
Notice your back to using the Autel on your latest videos, tTopdon not cutting it I wonder
It's roughly the same capability but just fond the Autel more familiar

Does that apply to Boxer 2018 as well?
What kind of spray are you using? :)
