Initially we could not manage to do the Chembra Peak trek in Wayanad as we could not reach on time and get the first 200 tickets. so we cam back the next day and finally did it.

How much time it takes to reach the top? At what time do they issue tokens?

The total length of the trek is around 4.5 km to the Chembra Peak. The watchtower is about a km away from the counter and the lake is 2 km uphill from there. The peak is further 1.5 km from the lake, but the guards and guides don’t allow trekking till there. So, the effective length of the trek is around 3-3.5 km.
Loved your video! Does the group have to be a minimum of 5? or will they allow groups of 2 or 3 too?
Hello Anushree - yes they do allow lesser groups too - token will mention the number of your group. One of our group was of 4!

Can two people go ahead early to take token for rest of the group...if yes than is there any limit how many tokens each person can get
One person can get one token each for 5 people! He or she can go early and get tokens for the group! Let me know if you have any queries. Also great if you could subscribe to our channel😀
This rush on Weekday or weekend ? Weekday less crowd?
On weekends and long weekends obviously expect huge rush. Weekdays and off season will be less. Please do subscribe to our channel❤️
How is that token issued sir..??
Whether they give token to individual person or to the whole gang..?
Hello Manoj, Token is issued in groups of 5, if you are individual or less than 5 they will give token accordingly.
You have to go early, queue up(read run and queue during weekends) to get token and then around 6:30/7 am they will give actual tickets to token holders.

I don’t think thats possible- there is no online portal too and locals confirmed you need to get tokens previous night. Feel free if you have more questions. Please do subscribe to our channel.
