Aw youre such a good mommy. I just had my 5th and last baby on 4/4 and its tough! But I love motherhood. Wouldnt give this up for nothing in the world.

I’m in the same boat! I am one day passed by due date now and I have a 2 1/2 year old at home..I’ve been anxious about this transition but excited at the same time. 😅
Congrats! I have 4 boys. Had my 1st girl last year and let me tell you... Girls r easier. Just had my last baby boy 3 weeks ago and he's rly cranky 😢 It's tough.

Glad to see u baby is healthy 🥺🥰really happy for u I know this pregnancy was harder , I just went for my 14 week scan unplanned , stressed about to turn 21 this will be my first n im only just coming to terms with it . How do you manage breastfeeding and taking care of other children when they need you? We are expecting our 3rd in December (3 under 3) and just looking for any sort of tips and tricks ❤

The breastfeeding class I took said no pacifiers for about a week or so. So how do you know when she’s hungry if you give her a paci during the first week? I don’t mind giving my baby a paci bc I want her to self soothe but didn’t know if I can introduce it right at birth
You can tell by the way they’re sucking. If they have a stronger suck and you can hear them swallowing, they need to eat. If they’re just kind of passively nibbling and not swallowing, they’re effectively using you as a pacifier so this is when you can pull them off and use the pacifier. It’s recommended to let them nibble at your breast in the early days though, as it helps increase the milk supply. Good luck!
I just had my 5th baby. And trust me! You'll know when the baby is hungry. He/she will spit out the paci and cry. Or she/he will suck on it harder.
I think pacis are such a personal thing. It really is different for each baby and mama and you don’t have to use one at all if you or baby don’t want to.
I would gauge it like this if you are trying to use one:
1. Baby just fed
2. Baby burped
3. Baby was changed into clean diaper
4 baby is swaddled or is not cold or hot.
If all these have been done and baby seems to be little upset or needs to suck to stay asleep then I will try the paci. If the baby starts to cry and spit out the paci again and again then I would start the steps over again.
Meaning feed again to see if they are still hungry then go to the next step and so on before the paci is introduced again.
Hope this helped and know you are your babies mama for a reason and know what they need. Trust your gut and follow your babies cues. You got this mama!

The amount of blankets in the bassinet scares me 😰 my anxiety of suffocation would be through the roof for the baby 😅
She's there watching the baby + newborns don't move that much. She's doing a great job!
She has 5 babies, I think she’s got this. Lol
This is giving me all kinds of baby fever lol... But nope, no more for me... My 2 year old keeps me way too busy... Jade is so sweet with her... So special to have a lil sis.
