okay. since it is out, i am gonna write a honest review on the album. the first album has some actually enjoyable tracks, but the poor reverb takes away most of it. the sample choices are really good, but i would have wished for them to be longer or atleast have more variety. the cover looks really simple too, but i can't say much for someone that barely knows how to do artwork. it has a nice closer, too. the second album is not really that different. it suffers from the same problems as the first album and the reverb is still really lacking. the effects are appreciated, but they just seem to be dull and rarely are significant in the tracks. the third album has some interesting parts, but, again, faces the same problems as the two previous albums. the distortion also sounds really lacking (especially considering that this is audacity.) the fourth album was more varied. i like how the structure of the tracks sounds more diverse. the scrambling, however, sounds monotonous and repetitive as it just barely changes for long periods of time. it feels as if like you're literally listening to the same section for 4 minutes with no change whatsoever, until the next section. the fifth album also had this same problem, but i really appreciated a lot of the soundscapes in it. the use of effects here sounds better, but as i said before, it just really feels pale sometimes. it's hard to listen to something that barely has any twists during the track. especially the more droney ones. the sixth album was more ambiental, but it was the one i enjoyed the least. it's just really tedious, in a bad way. couple that with the audacity reverb. to end the review, the final album was what you would expect for the last album of the average fan project. the ambient was a bit less boring and the ocassional touches of noise here and there helped to fill the gaps in the album. the ending was there, but it felt empty and unrewarding as a whole. and the noise that faded in also took away from the inmersion. that's it. this album had some strong parts and wasn't really that bad as what i could have made you think, but it just felt like it didn't embody the idea it went for. you could have experimented with more digital distortions, added more references. but it just feels detached from the intended premise, aside from the album art, the titles and the descriptions. it had more to desire, to be honest. but there is always room from improvement.
Nice, i really like this, the 2nd cover reminds me of natmos, also ¿What last minutes of S7 is supposed to represent?
