I know it's not the normal content but for holiday I'd love to see you rank/ review/ give comments on perfume commercials that come out (or at least get a lot of marketing push) for the Holiday season. It's one of my Mother's and I's favorite activities during the commercial breaks between TV-shows. We're watching something on cable, spending some time together, and then most unhinged perfume commercials come on. We end up laughing so hard at a lot of them.
I had the opportunity to smell the Beyoncé fragrance at her concert. It’s absolutely delicious. The honey and the rose smell so good together. You get a touch of that citrus from a clementine and a sexy, funky musk from the myrrh . I can’t wait to wear it on my skin. Pre-ordered early.
Jo Malone Ginger biscuit smells like a literal Ginger cookie. It’s more sweet than spicy ginger and I love it during the holiday season. So so yummy. And so glad they brought it back! Hope they make it permanent.
I just got Ginger Buscuit in the mail and good god it’s delicious. I immediately layered it over the new Hempz Vanilla Frost lotion and I smell absolutely edible. Ginger biscuit smells exactly like the name but not at all overwhelming or sharp/spicy from the ginger. Seriously tempted to get a backup with as large of a collection as I have better not. Would absolutely recommend for bakery gourmand lovers but I think anyone could appreciate it since it isn’t sickly sweet and suffocating.
I agree! 💕 I only have a small collection, so I bought two bottles of Ginger Biscuit since it's one of my all-time favourites and (if I recall correctly) this is the first time they've brought it back since 2019, so I don't know when it'll next come back!
I am sooooo happy that Jo Malone is bringing “Ginger Biscuit” back!!! It’s sooooooo good!!!!! It’s not too sweet but it has a slight spice note to it. You must try it!!!! Do not listen to the “tire” review. It’s a wonderful light gourmand perfume.❤
I ended up buying one off Mercari had like just under half of the bottle left but I don’t love it it’s OK of course I kept it the bottles beautiful even though the charms were missing I’m wondering if it’s gonna get better with age or maybe it was best when it was new
I just got my Ginger Biscuit and I am UPSET at how much it reminds me of Jolly Gingerbread Village 😭 😂Ginger Biscuit is more "milky" and less spiced to my nose, but VERY similar.
I already got the oudgasm minis from Harrods! I like all of for different reasons, but not so much to wear regularly, but they are all beautiful in their own way. The rose one is beautiful, the Cafe one is floral heavy and bright, the vanilla one is soapy and soft, and the tobacco is very masculine, even for me, and I wear masculine leaning scents regularly. If you like rose, the rose here is bright and modern and beautiful
Hi Lauren, just to let you know that I got a sample of Replica Under the stars, the other day. I will try to describe it. For me, leaning masculine. Imagine: standing outside, winter evening, next to the forest,smelling the wet trees and the moss and the cold air, smoke comes out of the chimney, like burned wet woods.... 😂 ok,so this was my experience. I wouldn't wear it but can appreciate the art❤
Vanilla Era is SO GOOD, you’d love it! it’s like mildly fall spicy, musky, and sooo cozy. very underrated. also, I wanted to recommend Dare from Brown Girl Jane to you! it’s a cherry leather scent which is normally not my vibe at all, but it’s such a like succulent, juicy date night perfume that I never hear anyone talk about and I think you’d like it!
I’d really love to see you do a new series where you suggest perfumes for your subscribers. I feel like it would be so helpful for the more minimal collectors. I’m still struggling to find my perfect scent ! But I’m not even sure what I’m missing or what notes I might like. There’s not a whole lot of if you like this you’ll like that videos out there and I think that that’s what the fragrance space needs. If anyone lurking in the comments has any suggestions let me know. Currently I think my favourites out of what I have are Roberto cavalli nero, good girl original, La belle, yes I am, Musc noir rose, musk 12, I also really enjoy the gold and pink juicy coutures and rem is my favourite Ari fragrance.
I think you would love black opium le parfum, and commodity gold (bold version) 🖤 these are gourmand, vanilla leaning. I also think you would like lush american cream and Britney spears fantasy intense ✨

Ginger Biscuit is amazing. It sold out, and folks have wanted it back forever. Not too sweet, just enough ginger. It has been awhile, very excited it is coming back. Thanks for all the info, I have the Skylar Vanilla on the way, still pricey for a mist lol.
I got Cherry Ambition in the mail yesterday and wore it today. I love it! When I sprayed it, it immediately reminded me of Khalat Night by Attar because it defined has a middle eastern vibe to it. The dry down is beautiful too. Reminds me a little of my one true love (Lost Cherry) in the opening but the dry down is more vanilla/woody vs lost cherry that has a more syrupy/boozey dry down 😊❤️
I think you’ll like the gingerbread fragrance from Jo Malone. I smelt it yesterday. I’m not a cinnamon fan in fragrance, so it wasn’t for me, but I could still appreciate it smells just like Christmas. It’s gourmand without being sickly sweet.
I am definitely planning to get the mini sprays of Ellis Brooklyn and the 7 Virtues cherry. Two side notes: Old Spice makes a Gentlemen's Blend of coffee & amber that smells a bit like Baccarat Rouge! It's hard to find in stores now- maybe been edged out by newer scents in the line- but still available on Amazon. It's so nice! And I bought the pumpkin spice bodywash and dolce cinnamon bodywash from Tree Hut on your recommend. SO GOOD.
I'm hype for 7 virtues.....I only have 1 cherry perfume and this one sounds promising, anything to NOT pay TF prices for something that doesnt last lol. I have a full bottle of the Cherry Ambition! And i was SHOCKED to find out this perfume is based out of the province beside me in Canada! So cool! And Cherry Ambition - it's phenomenal - get your nose on that ASAP!
As I’m watching this I just had UPS deliver my Vanilla Oud, Cafe Oud, and Tobacco Oud! I can’t wait to try them. I didn’t buy Rose yet, but I plan on ordering her next week. I usually wouldn’t be into the rose but I’ve seen a lot of really good reviews. I think I may like it. I also bought the Skylar Vanilla Sky hair and body mist, actually I bought two. It’s nice, smells nice but very light. I wouldn’t call it a body mist, this is a hair mist. It’s great for the hair but not so much for the skin. It’s good for hair and clothes.
STOP I'm SO excited for the Eliis Brooklyn Apple scent, Apres is absolutely my go-to in the winter especially around the holidays but having another one to round out the fall would be a DREAM and the red and green bottles will look ICONIC together!! 😭🙌
Expensive month for me!! I picked up Ellis Brooklyn Apple Love, Jo Malone Ginger Biscuit, and Kayali Tocabbo Oud. The only autumn fragrances I already use are Kayali Invite Only and Replica by the Fireplace, so I really wanted to add more to my collection lol
@@hijennwu Yes they’ve all arrived now! Apple Love is my current favorite - it’s pretty sweet initially with fruity notes and eventually settles into a warmer musky vanilla. Super approachable and I think it’s the most “autumn” fragrance out of the three. Ginger Biscuit is also very good but reads more cold weather/winter to me- it’s sweet and spicy, smells a lot like a sophisticated cookie lol but not overwhelming; it’s still a little warm where I live so I expect I’ll wear this a lot more once the weather changes. I’m very happy to have both of them! Tobacco Oud initially disappoints me but that’s my bad, I don’t think I’m really an oud person after all LOL. It’s not as smokey as I anticipated but it’s sexy and seems to dry down to being slightly sweeter which I like. But I only wore it once so far since I’m digging apple love so much atm!

Speaking of old celebrity perfumes - I really hope you find and try Lady Gaga’s discontinued Fame perfume in the future. The claw bottle cap is so cool, the perfume is black liquid and it smells so dark and sexy (to me).
I bought the 7 virtues cherry ambition and the Sylar Boardwalk delight together at Sephora. I was in store testing and i layered them together and my Fiancee and i fell in Love with the mix so he bought me both bottles...lol!!❤🍒❤

I love this channel! I could listen and discuss fragrance for hours. I picked Phlur's Somebody Wood and just spritzed it on so we'll see. First impression is a weaker version of Autumn Vibes and By the Fireplace, without the carrot seeds and smoke . 😂

I think when u say “spitty”, for me is like a bad breath kinda thing. That’s all I can think of when u say that. A lot of BBW ones do that for me, like the marshmallow ones & the newest vanilla ones. Burberry Goddess ALMOST does that for me, it’s on the brink. So yeah, I have to be careful w vanilla. There are so many on ur list that I wanna try!!! Fall/winter is the best time for perfume!
Hey nice video I’m excited for some of those fragrances coming out already bought the love shack sampler hate them all sadly because my thought was if I liked one of those that bottle would look super cute in my perfume collection but nope too floral for me.
Boy smells vanilla era is a deep dark peppery vanilla with a lot of woods. The only way i can describe it would be like a goth vanilla. I can picture Kat Von D wearing this. It's not your average sweet and girly vanilla.
I have Apple Love! It’s nice! The apple note goes away pretty quickly, but it’s left with a spicy, cozy scent. I’ll definitely enjoy wearing it this Fall. 🍎
Apple Love in a travel spray arrives from Sephora tomorrow! I don't live near anything, so I'm stuck with decants/samples/reviews to make decisions. This one sounded so good that I just said screw it and ordered it. If I love the travel size, I might get the big bottle for Christmas!

I jumped of Ellis Brooklyn Apple Love SO FAST. I love an apple note. I don't think the apple note is extremely prominent, but I love the fragrance nonetheless. I think the apple, lilly of the valley, and vanilla bourbon are really well blended, one is not louder than the other. Soft, sweet. The apple is a red apple, not a juicy tart green apple. This is definitely something different than the DKNY apple line, and also different than Kayali Eden Juicy Apple. Those are much more apple forward, fruity, juicy, zingy, tart. EB is more sweet apple skin, not the juicy tangy flesh. I was pleasantly surprised by the lasting power on clothes and hair as well! Not really anything incredibly unique or groundbreaking, but really pleasant and enjoyable to wear.
The perfume guy got advanced samples and has a review up of the kayali oudgasm (almost had an auto correct fail😂). I got an email that sniff recently added the newish citrus one and a woody one to the Ulta offering now 5 total. Not sure if they are actually in store or not. I used to be big on shopping bath and body works clearance sales, so I just pulled out a 10+ year old body wash which was still good and a more recent sugar scrub. 😂I don't need more.
The price increase on the kayali fragrances had me FLOORED lmao. I get oud is expensive but omg. Also, those 3 love shack fragrances all smell like bathroom air freshner.
Vanilla sky is more of a coffee fragrance for me.I smell the cappuccino so strongly on me. I had a roller ball but I don’t love it as a vanilla but I love as a coffee scent. Ginger biscuit is not as spicey or fresh as most Jo Malones. It’s very sweet and gormonde. The one Jo Malone touch it has is it’s aromatic but still sweet and gormounde. It’s like gingerbread cookies. It’s also a jo Malone that lasts. I’ve had it for years. I’m due for a new bottle. But I wore it to a Christmas party thinking it would faid by two hours ride. My brother said while I smelled good. It may be too strong for my sisters in laws mom who’s allergic to fragrance. So a little lesson I’ve learned. It has a projection, but it’s not too crazy big it’s pretty moderate, but not as intimate as most Jo malones.
For celeb fragrances, the most bottles I own are from Jennifer Lopez. I feel like Ariana gets all the hype and credit but, even though I'm 23, her fragrances are way too young and girly for me imo! I own only one of hers and when i finish it, I won't be repurchasing. Now, every celeb under the sun will be releasing perfumes. Idk if i will find it to be annoying or a good thing.

Growing up way before I collected or was way into perfume I work an Escada perfume all the time, I had a bunch of them but the BEST one the discontinued I wish I could find a bottle. The 7 virtues too but it had a marshmallow in the pic and no note (could’ve been a different one) & the tobacco kayali soo good. I was a diehard Xtina fan & have none of hers yet I’ll always have a midnight fantasy in my collection. My fave celeb scent. Lasts forever, little deeper for a celeb. I think B is trying to match Rihanna’s pricey perfume. 💜💜💜
I usually don't really care for how a bottle looks. I'm not drawn to that. It does work the other way around sometimes, when a bottle is particularly hideous to me, I skip it altogether. Like the Love Shack Fancy's. Those bottles are so not me, that I can not imagine the scents would be for me. But then again, I bought Mod Vanilla, and that is one ugly bottle if I ever seen one. I do like the scent, though. Thanks for the video, there are a few that peek my interest.
So I was not interested in this at all especially given the hype. I happened to come across this when I was in Nordstrom yesterday and I really enjoyed it! They were nice enough to give me a sample. I usually don't like gourmand cookie like scents but I really really like this. It's not sickly sweet. The spiciness is perfection. Might be crazy enough to buy it despite the price/performance issues. Definitely worth the hype scent wise. 🥰

Tried deep dark vanilla, not a fan I have the Jo Malone Ginger Biscuit re-release. I got from Saks before release date. It’s good! It’s Jo Malone so it’s light and fleeting. But it does smell like ginger cookies.
I smelled cherry ambition yesterday and I really didn’t like it, even if I like all the notes and looove cherry! To me, it was very floral 🤨 almost patchouli !

im not sure how to describe it but vanilla milk kinda smelt... malty? like a malt candy. its one of those fragrances (sort of like gasoline) that I have like a guilty pleasure of liking the smell but would NEVER want to wear it lol
If you hate patchouli stay away from DS & Durga Pistachio. I love it, but its verrrryyyyyy patchouli heavy. Its more of a nutty pistachio than a sweet pistachio

Expensive month for me!! I picked up Ellis Brooklyn Apple Love, Jo Malone Ginger Biscuit, and Kayali Tocabbo Oud. The only autumn fragrances I already use are Kayali Invite Only and Replica by the Fireplace, so I really wanted to add more to my collection lol

@@hijennwu Yes they’ve all arrived now! Apple Love is my current favorite - it’s pretty sweet initially with fruity notes and eventually settles into a warmer musky vanilla. Super approachable and I think it’s the most “autumn” fragrance out of the three. Ginger Biscuit is also very good but reads more cold weather/winter to me- it’s sweet and spicy, smells a lot like a sophisticated cookie lol but not overwhelming; it’s still a little warm where I live so I expect I’ll wear this a lot more once the weather changes. I’m very happy to have both of them! Tobacco Oud initially disappoints me but that’s my bad, I don’t think I’m really an oud person after all LOL. It’s not as smokey as I anticipated but it’s sexy and seems to dry down to being slightly sweeter which I like. But I only wore it once so far since I’m digging apple love so much atm!
@@katrina-leigh i don’t think i’m an oud person either and would want to get samples before committing to one of those bottles. of the 3 you mentioned i think ginger biscuit is what i’m most keen on getting, just wish i could smell it first before doing a blind buy on a full bottle 😂.

Speaking of old celebrity perfumes - I really hope you find and try Lady Gaga’s discontinued Fame perfume in the future. The claw bottle cap is so cool, the perfume is black liquid and it smells so dark and sexy (to me).
I bought the 7 virtues cherry ambition and the Sylar Boardwalk delight together at Sephora. I was in store testing and i layered them together and my Fiancee and i fell in Love with the mix so he bought me both bottles...lol!!❤🍒❤

I love this channel! I could listen and discuss fragrance for hours. I picked Phlur's Somebody Wood and just spritzed it on so we'll see. First impression is a weaker version of Autumn Vibes and By the Fireplace, without the carrot seeds and smoke . 😂

I think when u say “spitty”, for me is like a bad breath kinda thing. That’s all I can think of when u say that. A lot of BBW ones do that for me, like the marshmallow ones & the newest vanilla ones. Burberry Goddess ALMOST does that for me, it’s on the brink. So yeah, I have to be careful w vanilla. There are so many on ur list that I wanna try!!! Fall/winter is the best time for perfume!

Boy smells vanilla era is a deep dark peppery vanilla with a lot of woods. The only way i can describe it would be like a goth vanilla. I can picture Kat Von D wearing this. It's not your average sweet and girly vanilla.
I have Apple Love! It’s nice! The apple note goes away pretty quickly, but it’s left with a spicy, cozy scent. I’ll definitely enjoy wearing it this Fall. 🍎

Apple Love in a travel spray arrives from Sephora tomorrow! I don't live near anything, so I'm stuck with decants/samples/reviews to make decisions. This one sounded so good that I just said screw it and ordered it. If I love the travel size, I might get the big bottle for Christmas!

I jumped of Ellis Brooklyn Apple Love SO FAST. I love an apple note.
I don't think the apple note is extremely prominent, but I love the fragrance nonetheless. I think the apple, lilly of the valley, and vanilla bourbon are really well blended, one is not louder than the other. Soft, sweet. The apple is a red apple, not a juicy tart green apple. This is definitely something different than the DKNY apple line, and also different than Kayali Eden Juicy Apple. Those are much more apple forward, fruity, juicy, zingy, tart. EB is more sweet apple skin, not the juicy tangy flesh.
I was pleasantly surprised by the lasting power on clothes and hair as well! Not really anything incredibly unique or groundbreaking, but really pleasant and enjoyable to wear.
I personally don’t love any of them and still looking for my apple love fragrance. I want a juice apple that lasts . I enjoy reading people’s opinions

The perfume guy got advanced samples and has a review up of the kayali oudgasm (almost had an auto correct fail😂). I got an email that sniff recently added the newish citrus one and a woody one to the Ulta offering now 5 total. Not sure if they are actually in store or not.
I used to be big on shopping bath and body works clearance sales, so I just pulled out a 10+ year old body wash which was still good and a more recent sugar scrub. 😂I don't need more.

One of my favorites is Dirty Vanilla from Heretic, which is think is in the same vein as Deep Dark Vanilla (which I like too!) 🖤
Vanilla sky is more of a coffee fragrance for me.I smell the cappuccino so strongly on me. I had a roller ball but I don’t love it as a vanilla but I love as a coffee scent. Ginger biscuit is not as spicey or fresh as most Jo Malones. It’s very sweet and gormonde. The one Jo Malone touch it has is it’s aromatic but still sweet and gormounde. It’s like gingerbread cookies. It’s also a jo Malone that lasts. I’ve had it for years. I’m due for a new bottle. But I wore it to a Christmas party thinking it would faid by two hours ride. My brother said while I smelled good. It may be too strong for my sisters in laws mom who’s allergic to fragrance. So a little lesson I’ve learned. It has a projection, but it’s not too crazy big it’s pretty moderate, but not as intimate as most Jo malones.
Please do a video on the Kayali Ouds. Also, pleease talk about the performance. I don't have super good luck with Kayali lasting much on me.

For celeb fragrances, the most bottles I own are from Jennifer Lopez. I feel like Ariana gets all the hype and credit but, even though I'm 23, her fragrances are way too young and girly for me imo! I own only one of hers and when i finish it, I won't be repurchasing.
Now, every celeb under the sun will be releasing perfumes. Idk if i will find it to be annoying or a good thing.

Growing up way before I collected or was way into perfume I work an Escada perfume all the time, I had a bunch of them but the BEST one the discontinued I wish I could find a bottle. The 7 virtues too but it had a marshmallow in the pic and no note (could’ve been a different one) & the tobacco kayali soo good. I was a diehard Xtina fan & have none of hers yet I’ll always have a midnight fantasy in my collection. My fave celeb scent. Lasts forever, little deeper for a celeb. I think B is trying to match Rihanna’s pricey perfume. 💜💜💜

I usually don't really care for how a bottle looks. I'm not drawn to that. It does work the other way around sometimes, when a bottle is particularly hideous to me, I skip it altogether. Like the Love Shack Fancy's. Those bottles are so not me, that I can not imagine the scents would be for me. But then again, I bought Mod Vanilla, and that is one ugly bottle if I ever seen one. I do like the scent, though.

The escada one smells like cherry gummy bears. It’s SO realistic, definitely wanna purchase it!
So I was not interested in this at all especially given the hype. I happened to come across this when I was in Nordstrom yesterday and I really enjoyed it! They were nice enough to give me a sample. I usually don't like gourmand cookie like scents but I really really like this. It's not sickly sweet. The spiciness is perfection. Might be crazy enough to buy it despite the price/performance issues.
Definitely worth the hype scent wise. 🥰

I have the Jo Malone Ginger Biscuit re-release. I got from Saks before release date. It’s good! It’s Jo Malone so it’s light and fleeting. But it does smell like ginger cookies.

im not sure how to describe it but vanilla milk kinda smelt... malty? like a malt candy. its one of those fragrances (sort of like gasoline) that I have like a guilty pleasure of liking the smell but would NEVER want to wear it lol
If you hate patchouli stay away from DS & Durga Pistachio. I love it, but its verrrryyyyyy patchouli heavy. Its more of a nutty pistachio than a sweet pistachio
