    The formula of equation of arch is y=(4hx)×(L-x) ÷L² not L

    the equation u mentioned for finding y is wrong. in the denominator, it is "L square", u wrote only "L". correct equaion is y=[(4*h*x)/L square]*(L-x)

    Need your help, sir. hope you will consider this.
    A symmetrical three hinged parabolic arch has a span of 16m and a central rise of 4m it carries a point load of 16KN at 4m from the left hinge, the horizontal reaction at the right hinge support is .....KN?
