Some LED tubes can be energized on either one side or both sides. If you had an LED tube that used the pins on one side only for hot and neutral you would need to make sure the lamp holders were in shunted, so each pin on tube is connected to hot or neutral pin. The type of LED tube you buy depends on how they can be wired. Both systems are good.

Which bulbs did you buy? This is obviously different than the one sided power set up. Is this way better?
