A fun tip I learned today is that if you have stolen items you can basically launder them at vendors with the "buy back" option. I think that option was made for items you accidentally sold and want back. You don't have to pay for them if you do it without backing out of the interaction. When you do it with a stolen item, it removes the stolen tag on it. Not that I've ever been caught with stolen goods but its a cool little trick.
Sadly, they added a limit on the ability to exchange, from what I can tell it’s roughly the size of an outpost. You can still bring up the ship inventory and see what is there from anywhere.
Interesting. I've probably watched a hundred Starfield videos by now, mostly dealing with tips I should know. Most everyone is always saying the same things. The tips you outlined here are about 75% unique. Unlike most of those other videos, I actually learned a lot from your video. You earned a sub.
You can open the ship inventory next to the cockpit as well, its a screen on the wall. You can also travel from within systems to any other system or mission, or land at a planet by using the scanner from your cockpit. You dont need to use menu's to select landing spots etc.
Totally THIS! I would also get loaded up & overencumbered, slowly walk back to my ship to unload it! I thought you had to be on the ship to use the cargo hold LOL!
The fast travel nice, however I like/recommend doing it the other way jumping system to system just for the sheer fact of exploration and picking up other quest along the way. Still a useful tip for when I'm on a time crunch and wanna get something done.
I shall applaud you for this video. I've seen dozens of videos about Tips and things to know at lvl 1, etc, for starfield, but you came up with a few things I did not see anywhere else! The one I had no idea about was the BIOME survey stuff which was confused while playing. Good video!
I'm curious about what you kept looking to your right at! It was that look when you keep making sure someone didn't steal your car. Or the "I move away from the mic to breathe" from Chocolate Rain. Regardless, thanks for the helpful video!
I’m so happy a content creator I’m familiar with is making content on this game! I don’t play destiny 2 anymore thankfully so it’s nice to chill with TV again :) This video was super helpful, especially learning that I can transfer loot to my ship without being at my ship, as well as how to use my jet pack! Thank you!
Love the way you teach us things especially you physically demonstrating it. One feature that would be interesting and immersive is being able to repair your ships yourself, but being able to go to the damage and repair it there. Like how Han and Chewie be doing 😂 however I understand also if it’s too much Thank you so much! Will def save this video and try to remember when I get the game
true coming thru with the starfield content! this release snuck up on me, and who better to start getting my new addiction started with than this guy eh! love it
Love this stuff. You saved me in remnant with a similar vid. Also, I’m sorry, but if I had a space suit I’d wear it constantly. I’d only take it off like the bandit takes off his hat. And now I’m aging myself lol.
Nice video with some basics. Just a few comment: 1. Inventory to Ship must be at a distance of under 250 (Same when selling from Ship) 2. When using the scanner (F) use the Identifier (E) when targeting the Unknown sites on your scan.
Learning a lot of much needed stuff from this Vid TV thanks so much!! Literally in love with this game! I’m 29 hrs in as of yesterday… and I hope more people come and give this game a try and if u like it and are looking for a mission to go do… go join the UC Vanguard (best story ever omg!!!) Keep up the good work TV!!
Great video with very useful tips, some of which I had no idea about. One thing is where is the shop for ammo, and if they are scattered around towns is there a town map to show where useful vendors and medical places are for example? Cheers, RJ
Any good advice on a place to farm sneak attacks? I’m trying to level stealth but with only 1 point enemy’s are being alerted to me sneaking like 3 rooms away through 2 walls.
couple Controller translations: Hold B to get out of your cockpit Target different ships/stations/planets while in orbit with A When you Jump with Y - tap it again or hold it to use Jetpack
Thanks dude, these are some actual helpful tips. Usually when I watch these types of videos from other channels, its clickbaity dumb stuff that anyone should know but this was actual good tips that I definitely would have wanted to know. Good work
thanks for the clip, very informative and also clear, the only thing that spoilt it was the picture in picture as it blocked the screen a little but otherwise unlike the multitude of starfield clips out there this was by far the most informative one that i have seen thanks for that, have subscribed as well
I had a strong suspicion that they weren't going to have cool melee/stealth finishers from the early showcases so I did not go down the melee build path. I Love the game so far. It is really really really disappointing that they don't have them in the game so far. I still play fallout 4 and Skyrim to this day just for the bloody satisfying kill moves. Please Bethesda if you are reading this please implement them.
This game supports on the fly controls swapping so if u just plug in an xbox controller and bump a stick itll switch to show what buttons do what so ur tutorials here make more sense
Currently on vacation so feel like I'm behind the curve on Starfield. Well now it's just my game time not my game knowledge that's lagging, cheers Ryan.
I cant play this game because im on ps5 but I hope your new foray into starfield is successful for you, ill still watch your vids though as you always make banger content!❤️❤️
Great vid TV! The amount of stuff in this game is pretty daunting - I’m a main campaign kinda guy and struggle with inventory management in particular! But I’ve got game pass so I’m going to at least give it a go and see if I like it. If not no harm! Good luck with the vids TV - I hope they do well!
another pro tip you dont need to waste a favorite slot on your cutter. whenever you have your scanner out just left click and it will auto switch to your cutter, and when you put the scanner away it will also put your cutter away.
One thing to note is that food items that gives healing, does not heal. It's probably a bug that the Devs needs to patch. So keep those that give extra benefits, and sell any food that only provide healing stats.
Precc the vid but why is no one explaining what the resources on the side of the scanner mean? Like is it showing me the direction they are in or what I’m so confused
Thank god for this after ten years destiny I’ve forgotten how to play other games Couldn’t work out how my player got Covid in the first hour of the game thanks for the tips
TV, is someone holding you hostage?? Blink twice on next video… ( keep looking to the right /window😅😂) great content as usual tho now I can start starfield
TV, I'm fairly sure you shouldn't use such a lovely word like COCKPIT. You can imagine why, well with all of the stewardesses going in and out of it all the time... See George Carlin "COCKPIT" for reference 😂
Hey just a tip, maybe try making your streaming overlay fade out when you are trying to show off things on screen. Your face is getting in the way of what you are showing off.
I have a 4 monitor setup, and on my right is the monitor that shows me what you're seeing. I check it often to make sure my facecam isn't covering up something that I'm trying to draw your attention to.

The tip about being able to store stuff on the ship while out exploring is gonna save me so much time! Same for selling from ship inventory!
Yeah! Just pick up those radioactive rocks and crafted stacks to get off AT the vendor.
Sadly, they added a limit on the ability to exchange, from what I can tell it’s roughly the size of an outpost. You can still bring up the ship inventory and see what is there from anywhere.
Man, I had no idea you could send gear to your ship. That's a huge help.
Interesting. I've probably watched a hundred Starfield videos by now, mostly dealing with tips I should know. Most everyone is always saying the same things. The tips you outlined here are about 75% unique. Unlike most of those other videos, I actually learned a lot from your video. You earned a sub.
Thanks for the kind feedback and support!

I spent 5 hours lugging around and dropping stuff thru the first 2 planets because I didn't know how to store stuff except on the robot. lol
Totally THIS! I would also get loaded up & overencumbered, slowly walk back to my ship to unload it! I thought you had to be on the ship to use the cargo hold LOL!

you've done it again mate... this is why i subscribe to you my friend...no BS....straight to the point.. quality life hacks.. Keep them coming

Thank you!
Selling from ship is about 200 meters. At New Frontier Spaceport, only the Spaceporrt terminal and the shop up & to Left is within range, it seems.
Super helpful and efficient (No rambling, gets straight to the point!. Thank you

This is sheriff Buford T Justice calling the Bandit…
Great concise pointers! Like always quality content from you TV! Glad to see all the Starfield vids coming up
That jetpack tip is so helpful. I was playing for like 5 hours before I realized how to unlock it. They need to make that way more clear!
Nice video with some basics.
Just a few comment:
1. Inventory to Ship must be at a distance of under 250 (Same when selling from Ship)
2. When using the scanner (F) use the Identifier (E) when targeting the Unknown sites on your scan.
Keep up these incredible videos. You're literally saving me left and right. 😭
Sadly they removed the option to store resources in the ship from anywhere. You need to be physically near the ship now in order to store things.
Thanks for the batch of videos. Looking forward to firing this up next week!

Gave up on destiny a ways back. Happy to see you still out there with something new that I'm playing! Good vid!
Great video TV! Very informative!

Everyone is making these videos with X number of things you should know about Starfield, but this was, by far, the best one.
Thanks so much!

Sweet! I love these type of vids, and even better, this one is from you!
Great information. Just got started yesterday, and I've definitely been feeling a little lost. These tips helped things make a lot more sense. Thanks!

Anyone have a count of how many times he looked out the window?
tv you were my favorite d2 creator and now youre my favorite starfield creator lol
And this is why I'm subscribed omg thanks bro!!!!!
This game supports on the fly controls swapping so if u just plug in an xbox controller and bump a stick itll switch to show what buttons do what so ur tutorials here make more sense
10 hours in and I didn’t know most of the tips in this video. Thanks!!
Amazing video TV! Keep them coming!
Just got off work, about to get on starfield now. Should I watch this or no?
I really wish I’d watched this video before I started. I would have saved so much time walking to and from my ship!
Best help video so far. Thx
A lot of really helpful pointers! Appreciated!
Excellent video, helped me a bunch.
Good stuff my man 🙏🏻 knew a lot of them be self exploration but still got some good tips from this 🤗😊
I didn't even notice the 'hide spacesuit" or knew you could get up when you're flying... and that's after 50 hours played 🤦♀
thanks, for the tips learned somethings I didn't know!
This was helpful, thanks! My patch upload is almost complete. Time to play!
Have fun!
Happy to see you are doing variety content TV. I honestly don't see Destiny 2 would still go strong after Final Shape.
another pro tip you dont need to waste a favorite slot on your cutter. whenever you have your scanner out just left click and it will auto switch to your cutter, and when you put the scanner away it will also put your cutter away.
So helpful, thank you!!!!!
Would be good to be able to put a marker on the place you a going towards when on a planet.
Definitely do some more of these
One thing to note is that food items that gives healing, does not heal. It's probably a bug that the Devs needs to patch. So keep those that give extra benefits, and sell any food that only provide healing stats.
Food heals for me
@@nathanbutler5605 me too, but the effects are tiny so you have to eat a lot to seethe effect on the health bar. More like RL and less like Fallout 4
Nice job. Thank you.
I went "aaaaah" alot watching this. thank you for all the tips
Love the variety, are you gonna play the open beta of the first descendant?
"DON'T DO ANY OF THAT" is t-shirt worthy lol
Love the channel. 1 question, If i love Mass Effect (not Andromeda), will I enjoy this?
Glad you're doing starfield. You make great videos. I can't wait to start playing in a few days.
The best tips ever. 🔥👍🔥🔥
Great video and great game man!
Thank you TV you saved us so much time.
Precc the vid but why is no one explaining what the resources on the side of the scanner mean? Like is it showing me the direction they are in or what I’m so confused
These tips videos usually tell me stuff I already knew. Not this one! I didn’t know practically everything you were telling folks about. 👍👍👍
Great tips! I've bene playing 25 hours and I didn't know about half of these!
Nice tips, better than the million other get rich fast, get XP now etc. This one actually had overall quality of life tips. Thank you.
Great video mate 👍
I really liked the video, but I need to know if there actually was a person sitting to your right the whole time.... is that so?
Duuuude I'm gonna be watching starfield content after all. Won a raffle at work and use it to get an Xbox
Does it have joystick support?
So what was outside the window?
This was actually very useful and informative.
Great tips!
Im trying starfield because of you today
Well said my guy 👍
Thank god for this after ten years destiny I’ve forgotten how to play other games
Couldn’t work out how my player got Covid in the first hour of the game thanks for the tips
LOL covid, you made me laugh bud
Need a ship piloting and combat guide in detail
Mission with Noel, she will instruct you to add boast capability to the backpack
Someone coming for you? Never seen someone look over their shoulder that much lol
My tip: buy bandages, don’t craft them as they use sealant. Better to save that for settlement building.
im more curius now what you keep looking for on your right seems to be very interesting xD
Pretty sure you hold B on the Xbox controller to get up in your ship
THANK YOU JESUS, YOUR BACK TO A DIFFERENT GAME.
How come he has a blue bar under his HP bar??
TV, is someone holding you hostage?? Blink twice on next video… ( keep looking to the right /window😅😂) great content as usual tho now I can start starfield
Good lord. You really saved my life from suffering bad interaction design.😢
TV, I'm fairly sure you shouldn't use such a lovely word like COCKPIT. You can imagine why, well with all of the stewardesses going in and out of it all the time... See George Carlin "COCKPIT" for reference 😂
Thank you
Hey just a tip, maybe try making your streaming overlay fade out when you are trying to show off things on screen. Your face is getting in the way of what you are showing off.
Nice video.
Keep it coming.
What are you looking at??? it's a bit distracting, but thank you so much for the tips!!!!
I have a 4 monitor setup, and on my right is the monitor that shows me what you're seeing. I check it often to make sure my facecam isn't covering up something that I'm trying to draw your attention to.
@@TrueVanguard Ahhhh, thanks for that information. Thought maybe you have a hot neighbor or something, haha! Thanks again!
it blows my mind how you don't have a million + subs.
you dont stream???
I was level 8 before noticing the spacesuit hiding toggle 😂
