Around Mission Bay - Fennix Swordfish S

This video is about a paddle with Nick from Mission Bay to Orakei marina. We don’t see Nick but he was there behind trying to follow me 🤣. I was paddling the Fennix Swordfish S which was my second surfski after the Epic V7. Got it 3 months after getting the V7 and kept both for more or less a year until they got replaced by the Epic V10L Ultra.
Nick was paddling his Fenn Bluefin S hybrid.
The clip was taken with a GoPro 8 which was the worst GoPro I ever owned. It was freezing most of the time when it started but most of the time it didn’t even start. I sent back to GoPro and eventually got the GoPro V9 as a replacement. The V9 worked well but unfortunately I lost it at sea when it hit a fishing line that broke my GoPro chest mount.

It is not over at all! Was 5 degrees this morning. That video is from the time I had the Swordfish. It is all in the description 😊. I uploaded it because a friend from Puerto Rico wanted to know how it paddles. He paddles a V7 and used to have a Fenn XTS etc

I still paddle surfskis but mostly the sea kayaks because of the cold. Most of my surfski paddle in winter is boring because I follow the shore so I can still swim easily in case I fall in 😂
