Thank you so much for recording these monthly Butcher Box hauls. I’ve only gotten 3 boxes in the last year but this is inspiring me to cook more at home and search for member deals. I currently have free ground beef, bacon, and chicken wings for life.

Nice informative video, I was curious, but my local butcher store is a better value, with that said if you don’t have access to one it looks like a not bad deal.
Although there are butchers in my area the quality and value don't make it worth it but that's amazing you have a great local option! I agree, local is always better regardless of what the product is

Thank you for your kind comment, bless you and your family as well! And no, you don't have to buy the box every month. You can delay or stop a subscription at any time. The delay function seems to be the most helpful you can delay for any amount of time that works for your schedule. I'll try to link the ButcherBox article that explains how to do it

I enjoyed the flavor of their ribeyes because the cows are grass fed and it shows as it showed in the taste, but there was little marbling. When cooked, it did feel more dry than even local grocery offerings. And for this reason, I unsubscribed to Butcher Box since Im looking for a more juicy steak
Good point! I also love a marbled steak and I agree, I could use some more fat on the ButcherBox ribeyes. I hope you were able to find something better locally!
Great Video. I am thinking of joining. How do you get free bacon ground beef and flank steak. On their site I only see get one item a month free.

Thanks for your comment! When I signed up for ButcherBox I got a "ground beef for life" deal as my sign up bonus. Randomly about 7 months into being a member, ButcherBox ran a "pay $99 get free flank steak for life" promo so I paid the $99 and now I will receive a flank steak in each box for as long as I am a member with ButcherBox. They ran a similar promo for bacon as well so I again paid a fixed amount and now I receive one pack of bacon in each of my boxes for as long as I am subscribed. I was told this company has questionable safety issues .
