Better than the Chess Elite channels they are just clickbaity but bro is really working he should have 3.72 million subs while he has 37.3K Please keep giving educational content for advance players. Basically what i am trying to say is that the high rated need to work themselves there are very few channels for them. But Fortunately this is one of them :) Thanks Jack for doing this work for us :).
Simply amazing that this guy gives these nuggets of brilliant advice for free and the fact that he doesnt have a larger following astounds me. Keep it up dude👍👍
Yeah that's my game for the second one. I didn't like their bishop (most powerful piece) and didn't consider literally any of the plans you said, so this video has been really helpful, thanks :)
Jack, you have become my free Chess instruction teacher that delivers lessons to my computer! You are so awesome. Oh, and thanks for not using low-rated players to demonstrate your points (as some others do). I feel a sense of trust when you say something, because I see you as someone with a great deal of integrity. Your honesty and integrity matter greatly to me!
Everyone's talking about how you don't have a large following, but I'm confident that won't be true for long - keep up the excellent work my guy, big things ahead!!!
05:40 those things change if your opponent keeps the pace and play in the game just like football match where a ball stays at other team for 10 mins and other side changes the plans fastly every time
21:25 whenever i am playing an underdog position i look at my opponents pieces in the back and my mind is like "black pieces are preparing a bomb for me the only thing they need to do is to send it to my side"
Isn't the game 2 plan of not trading dark squared bishops pretty logical in conjunction of what you said in game 1? If you trade everything off there's gonna be no advantage - and looking at blacks sad bishop on g7 looking into whites huge pawn wall is definitely worse than "ours". Same with trading the light square bishops. Trading that off was pretty much my whole plan (Play e5, offer a bishop trade - i thought black would go back to h8, not g7 for some reason, and then play h4, h5) so i was really happy when the engine traded it off too. I was completely oblivious to the option of a minority attack though, so there's lots to learn still.
trading on g7 at times can be an option as to weaken the dark squares around the king & punish the pawn structure. white has a knight resting not too far from the enemy king, so the consideration of the trade is natural to be made. of course the engine knows best, and keeping the bishops on the board is better, but if we're making plans with human intuition and not engine approved its difficult to know for sure.
GM Sark, do you ever routinely play against bots to improve your game? If so, which bots? Or, do you only play against humans? Thank you for your insights!
I find the camera jumps in these videos discomforting, sort of an epileptic seizure vibe. It makes it challenging for me to watch. The content is good, though.
