Out of curiosity, what was the point of juggling the peons with the gold mining?
The 4 Peon Goldmine trick requires a diagonal plane & you must send the peon whom returns to the town hall with their gold immediately back to the gold mine. Do this with each peon everytime & you will get the same gold as if you had 5 peons in the gold mine

Well Metzen hasnt thing to say about these things anymore, he retired some time ago (he will still keep doing Thrall's voice among other voice acting for Blizzard's games, but he will no longer be the lore writer)
That along with the fact that Rob Pardo, who was lead-designer for Warcraft III, is no longer with Blizzard either makes me even more skeptical about Warcraft IV =(
well I think the Starcraft II team did pretty good job and honestly if the quality would be that good with Warcraft IV too, then the answer would be yes....
But ye I quess you have some point in that, but lets not forget that Metzen was also the one responsible for the lore that we all liked prior to WoW. Anyhow with the RTS genre's popularity diminishing and World of Warcraft still being as popular as it is (I mean its nowhere near its golden days of glory, but still likely around 5-6 million active players even though we dont know the exact numbers anymore), I very much doubt that we would see WC IV from Blizzard in long while yet...
Anyhow for me it was clear years ago that should they ever do Warcraft IV, then the only way to do that lorewise is simply to continue where Warcraft III: TFT ended....and either ignore the events of WoW completely or just take some of the main storyelements from it, but build it better.
I don't trust Blizzard anymore since Diablo 3

Just want to say that I still tune in to every episode you put up on youtube but only because you stream usually while I'm at work and I rarely have free time after work anyways. At any rate, this has been one of your coolest videos I think. There were so many times when you so easily could have lost it and every moment and move was just a gamble. You had your losses but you always just barely held in there and I think that the sheer epicness of this 1 v 11 won't be beaten. I know it's been done with human and undead on this map before, I've seen videoes of both. Basically with undead, you gotta exploit the hell out of undead imbalance and play the long game with burrowing fiends until you can steam roll with wyrms. Now that I've seen you do orc, I would be very interested in you also being the first to do 1 v 11 with night elf. I have no idea how you would make that work, but it would definitely be the most challenging and exciting to see. Keep up the fun and hard work Rich. I always look forward to your plays and rages.
Pega Broster it has never been done with undead as far as i know. there is a video of a guy doing it on youtube but all the computers are 50% handicapped... not even close to what wtii and funnywarcraft3 did

I was going to watch a movie tonight, then i found this. Used to play this back in the day, fucking amazing watching you play. huge throwback for me.
2:02:10 best part of the stream. Man that is some talent right there. Can add that Funny was first while you picked somewhat harder race to do this with so I give slight advantage to the Russian guy. Do you consider doing this with UD and NE as well? That would be really impressive.
As a reply to myself I think orc is easier than HU to do this strategy. Sure no mass tp but endurance aura, bats (now with bat buff it gets even better), stronger tower and well stronger heroes. So if I guess from easiest to hardest.
Orc>HU>UD>NE in case you wonder why I think UD is easier than NE it is because of unholy aura mainly. The increase of move speed is super crucial for Wtiis strategy.

10 years since playing warcraft and these things are still tremendously fun to watch.
P.S. You hardly ever used the full mana of heroes, with the exception for Shadow Hunter's heals.
aye I see, mostly just use them for defo kills, but there is potential to soften up peasants then do a round trip back to finish them off with the 2nd spell combo

Wyverns backed up by Orc casters and heroes are nearly unstoppable to any army not strictly designed for anti-air purpose. They out-DPS pretty much any other army composition except buffed Chimeras against ground.

landed here by accident and happy about it... loved that game. Favourit race was undead, but I was best with orcs... similar play style, just that I used batrider + raider and not batrider + windrider

Get comfortable with your build order, hotkeys & game plan
i cant kill easy bot hope u are happy now
you have to exploit them. As you see in the videos, bots priorize heros and have extremely high aggro towards them (they may move their entire army without ground-attacking just to kill the hero), so if you move around your hero, they will follow him, and yours (if its ranged) can deal damage while they pursue you: a way to get some blows on them with simple micro. Also, bots are stupid when they get cornered or in a bottleneck. Abuse the geography and use AoE when that happen.
back when I played, air units would do the trick to beat any AI... and after a while you're so keen to the system, that you're naturally reading and the beating AI without effort.
Those guerilla tactics of yours are really good
