Even better is to backup regularly on an HDD using the Father, Grandfather, GreatGrandfather method and place the GreatGrandfather HDD in a bank safe deposit vault in another city. It saved me when the 2018 Paradise Campfire burned my house down while I was out of town. The fire burned for three days and turned everyone's house to just a pile of ashes. I had scanned all of my negatives and family photos going back to the 1850's and put them on a hard drive with my digital photos. About 6TB total. I was able to recover the digital version of everything except the last 3 months from the safe deposit box at the bank.

Fantastic video Mr Morganti, I`ve never heard of this before or seen anyone show this on YT. I keep regular back ups so hopefully I`ll never have to resort to using this tool, especially as I have something like 72,000 photos in my catalogue, but this is something I`m definitely going to store somewhere on my PC in case I ever do need it. Thanks for this video and showing us this Mr Morganti.

Hi Anthony, I think you should also mention that any photos you add to collections is also stored in the the cloud and it’s unlimited space and it’s not charged against your allotted account space

Thank you for posting. Great to know this script file exists. I do have a question. In the event an entire library (or portion of it) is lost, will the script also re-build the folder tree/structure of the original library, or does the user have to manually rebuild each folder?

Nice to know, but I will never lose my photos (again) 😜 Lyckily I managed to rescue them after nearly 2 months in fear. I had it all synced to Adobe Cloud, but I thought I did lose all my raw´s. Now I have triple backup + Adobe Cloud and iCloud jpg´s.
