If an Event says you have to be within 3 tiles of an allied town, does that mean one that is not hostile, or is it necessary for your relation with that settelment to be "allied" aka 90-100 relation? Btw, you inspired me. Just started a run where I try to heavily influence my events. Current composioion is a Bower, a Witchhunter, a Graverobber, a historian and a caravanhand (+2 lowbobs) so you see where this is going. :D

@@feediefoodI have not tried out the shamshir tech but i guess its not good anyways. With the dagger you can avoid armor which is the whole point of these special weapons but with the shamshir you have to get rid of the armor before you can do massive injuries and its really bad at removing armor.
@@franz265 Duelist can bypass armor quite well but injuires aren't that effective against many enemies. It's terrifying against you however, wait till you see a champion swordmaster gutting your bros while barely scratching your armor.
@@feediefoodExactly swords are only good against gobbos and light armor. With the dagger ignore mechanic i thought shamshir works similar but i guess not.

there is also an event where you can buy some oathtaker armour, 300/300 for 9000 which is decent depending on the time you get it

Good events for militia origin? Only know about recruiting barbarian After fights in the barbarian camps
You can actually find high born bros like sell sword and nobles through contracts, check the contract event section from the wiki
there is also event with a witch where you can get famed dagger.

Today i lost a famed Shamshir. Needless to say that the drunkard had an extensive session with the whip. He no longer is a drunkard.
Should have put it in someone's pocket for safe keeping, A famed item in the inventory is probably a famed item you don't need anyway :)
