    8:18 Yes it's really the best way to relay to other channels while Facebook presence makes it at the minimum because if you rely on their ads, the Ai might disable your ad account with no return, like what happened to me, I have 0 issues in my Ad Account and not even used ads 9 months ago, but they Disabled it for no reason.

    24:12 What's the method for running these content tests? Like, how many days do you test, what are the key metrics, etc.

    • @MariSmithVideos
      @MariSmithVideos Год назад

      Hello Bike Pretty -- I would recommend running tests for around 3 days or more. It can take that long for the AI / machine learning / algorithms to properly assess your variables. In terms of key metrics, that's going to be up to you. Let's say you're doing some split testing driving traffic to a special offer - perhaps a free download (lead magnet) to get more subscribers on your list. Then your #1 metric would be ultimately how many new leads (subscribers). But you'd also track clicks, CTR (click through rate), ROAS (return on ad spend) and more. If you're running video posts/ads, then you'd monitor video views as a key metric, too. Hope this helps!

    FANTASTIC! interview. Where can I submit a question for Mari at this late date? My question: is it best to post on my Page and then Share that post to my Groups? Facebook recently took down my group just as I passed the 18k+ milestone.

    I wish FB would allow us to run ads to promote groups rather than just pages.

    • @MariSmithVideos
      @MariSmithVideos Год назад +2

      Omg, I totally agree with you Shane!! Meta/FB does a fairly good job of really pushing the power of Groups... but why we can't proactively pay to promote is super annoying. There are a lot of creative ways, of course. I see many marketers using a lead magnet landing page, for example, and to get the free gift subscribers have to join the FB group.

    Why is SMM so expensive?

    • @MariSmithVideos
      @MariSmithVideos Год назад

      It's not expensive if you have a cohesive strategy that generates leads and sales! Yes, it can take time and money in the beginning to run plenty of tests and see what works. But ultimately, your marketing and advertising costs should not be considered as expensive when done correctly - you should always, always see a positive ROI (return on investment). If you're spending more money on marketing/social media than you're making, then that needs to be fixed!! 🤪

    This video does not tell you HOW to create that community. I dislike videos where they just vaguely mention what you need to do.. they are assuming you know how to gain 15k followers overnight and keep talking glossing over that.. its like hello, how do I even get these people to follow my group page. Come on son, anybody can say what she's saying, but someone telling you the EXACT formula for getting people to your page is the clencher. Im outta here

    These kind of interviews are just painful. There's so much talk about things a listener just doesn't care about ... like you just did something on your page as you go off on a tangent about links. It's related but not that important or helpful. There's so much talk about what people may or may not think and blah blah blah. I came here to listen specifically to how to run an engaging facebook group and expect actionable suggestions only.
