Try this: Keep the ignition OFF. Open the enricher fully. Keeping the ignition off, kick through 3 compression strokes. Close enricher. Get the kicker up on the compression stroke. Turn on the ignition and kick. If it does not start turn the ignition OFF and get it back up on the compression stroke. Turn the ignition on and kick. Continuously kicking with the ignition on can foul your spark plugs.

Hold your foot down at the bottom of the kick for a second or two and it shouldn’t give that kick back pressure.

Had a ‘75 Sportster that I’d chopped. Stated first kick every time no one was around. If there was an audience, then 17 kicks.

It's not a honda bring it up on compression stroke , probably need a prime kick with ignition off

How does the higher front end affect ride and steering? Are you less agile?
Well it is quite heavy to turn in low speed and very slow to initiate a turn when going a faster than walking speed
Is your tank half oil half gas?
It sure is, looks about as cool as it is useless. got about a 40km range at the moment
