No, you're going to have problems with the sway bar if you don't raise both sides. The sway bar will be pushing up really hard on the side you're working on.
@@ALI_FIX12 I have a follow up question for you, at the beginning of the video you're using a pair of vice grips to help remove what appears to be a steering linkage. When the tie rod was removed, it looked like the rubber bushing was damaged from the vice grips. Was it damaged or did that damage not affect the function of the steering linkage to the point of needing replacement?
@@ALI_FIX12 wow. I need to replace axle shaft seal (same work that you did + replace the seal where you insert the shaft) and my local MB service center made a quote for 3h work and would like to charge me 500$ just for the work alone. Then comes the cost of the seal itself (27$), plug+crush washer(4,5$) and whole 60$ for transmission oil. Not sure what "extra materials" for 45$ are. gloves, paper and break clean i guess. With taxes on top, whole repair will end up almost 800$. I think with the help of this video I will be able to do the repair myself. Thank you very much for posting!
Hello, is it necessary to raise both sides or can I do it by raising only the side that I am going to replace?
hello sir ... It is not necessary ... you can raise only one side 🔧👍🏼

I was taught only hand tight lug nuts when car is up and retighten with torque wrench after lowering the car.

Tools needed not listed would be really nice if the exact tools were listed
Thank you for note 👍🏻 I will do that in the future 🔧❤️
@@ALI_FIX12 one of the big nuts (upper control arm) is a "triple square" one, right? what is the size of it?
