I’ve spent months, if not years trying to remember what this game was called as I played it so much growing up, but could only remember tiny snippets of it and now I’ve finally found it hahah ! The Nostalgia is real
I can't believe this game is only about 5 hours long. I remember it being so much more. I remember booting it up just to play the opening levels and wander through that nostalgic music and fool around with the mechanics. Hours and hours of childlike wonder and exploration.
I didn’t know how to save the game and one time I got so deep (probably only a few levels cause I haven’t watched the video yet) and was so mad when my Xbox didn’t keep my progress the next day… I couldn’t read yet so I felt like an elder god in that moment. The tv show years later brought sadness upon me for being so trash
Why do I suddenly remember playing this as a kid. I've gone my entire life with no memory of this game and suddenly I remember everything about it after finding this video. It's like a long forgotten dream.
I love how you're games. even if they're hard sometimes. Your authenticity is refreshing. Keep keeping it real. Great game. Your play throughout the game is absolutely engaging. It adds so much fun. The gameplay really good. Can't wait to see how you'll tackle the next level. Keep those gameplays coming! this video has been an absolute joy to watch. Your passion for gaming shines through, and it's evident that you put a lot of effort into creating high-quality content. I'm excited to see what you have in store for future videos. Keep up the fantastic work and thank you for sharing this amazing gaming experience with us!
Best twist ending I've ever seen in a video game. Sort of a double twist though if you think about it. Anyway, the Tak series is my favorite video game series. Glad to see that some people still remember it. Thanks for doing this Longplay Tikal. Hope that you eventually do longplays of Tak and the Power of Juju and Tak: the Great Juju Challenge. Both are great games. The Great Juju Challenge is my favorite game overall.
Example of a sequel that does better than the first game. The Tak games, Vexx, Spyro, Psychonauts, Banjo, Conquer, Star Fox for Gamecube. All these 3d platformers are so fun love them. oh and that one Sphinx game where you are a mummy/reg char.
I was looking for this game for so long. I remembered those blobs as stone golems and the main character wearing viking like clothes and this dream land as dark forest with floating isles. I was stuck on that part in 34:18, because I didn't understand english as a child, so I was just trying to destroy them with weapon.
Playing this game and being in daycare with a 4 year old vocabulary and understanding of words. Im surprised i got as far as i did. i didn't beat it though
So bizarre, I was just texting my sister and She said ‘bad juju’ and this game came flooding back into my memory. I remember sitting on the carpet drinking a hot milo and playing this game. Wow the brain is a funny thing. Havnt thought of it in like 15 years
I remember playing this with no memory card because my folks wouldn't buy another one and I didn't want to lose progress on other games, probably 10 times over.
i just remembered the days me n my cousin used to play this game so much. especially the snowboarding multiplayer game. playstation 2 has so many of my good memories
those were the days, booting up my older brother's PS2 while he is at school and im at home and i would play this game over and over again without finishing it at times, never had the chance cause i cant save it on the memory card cause its not mine its my brother's ahhhhhh the nostalgia, Jak, Tak, Ty The Tasmanian tiger, ratchet and clank and lastly the Sly Cooper franchise will always have a special place in my heart. playing them growing up was a blast. the zone of the enders and the MGS franchise was top tier too! i miss PS2 games. cant believe video gams were hella cheap back then where im at. 5 bucks!
God the distant art of the dream world at 1:55:05 creeped me out as a kid and still creeps me out as an adult. What are those things? Almost as creepy as the background art for Celeste's Mirror Temple.
Hey Genevieve, I have a few questions for you, which voice do you think is best for Tak, the Jason Marsden voice, or the Hal Sparks voice, also have you ever seen the Tak and the Power of Juju T.V. show, and if so do you like it, as for me I honestly prefer the voice that Hal Sparks gave him, and I've seen the T.V. show first when I was younger, and found out that it was based of video games later on.
I got so tired of chasing pins and needles I almost jumped out the window 😂 that crap was waaay too drug out. It just went on and on and on. Ridiculous.
Does anyone know if I can stream this trilogy while playing it on my wii? Also who the he’ll disliked 3 dislikes??!!!!! This was the best trilogy of the late 90s
The video games beat the tv show any day. It’s too bad the tv show took away all of Loki’s redeeming (or at least entertaining) qualities and made him a generic asshole.

Same here dude , thoo 1 childhour is like 24 adulthour
Back when the simplest thing was pure magic
I remember playing the first game for days and not even completing like the first zone lol
Time goes by much slower as a kid compared to how fast it flies by when you’re an adult
The person playing here has complete mastery over the game…the average person would take much, much longer hahaha
I dont think I ever made it past the first level as a kid but damn nostalgia hits

I remember me and my brother playing this at the ps2 at my grandmas house but we didn't complete it because we didn't know what to do

Was it also on the swamp level? Cause I was stuck for weeks and just gave up as a kid

No offense, but you really need to play more video games if you see this as the best twist ending in a video game.
Does anyone notice that the Dream Guardian shakes his head during the fall? I think he’s trying to say “No, please don’t do this!”
I was just starting to think "Maybe it's Lok!"
