Man, this looks like a rocking time!!! How cool to have rides in between shows to live it up and I say the mud just adds to the FUN! My fave part was seeing the two of you enjoying yourselves! Here's to living life to the fullest.

Hi Dave & Dawn - love Download Festival, last time i went was in 2015 - it was just as muddy back then but that just adds to the fun - looked like you both saw some great bands and had a good time. Really enjoyed seeing it again, great video. Have a nice week - Don ❤

Really really enjoyed this one! "Back in the day" I used to go every year but it's been a long time .. I consider myself too fragile for the mud these days but I loved living it through you!

Brings back lots of wonderful memories of Download over the years - some scorching hot and others mudfests and above all the amazing bands I've seen!! I was at the very first one in 2003.

😄 we still do although we take a lot longer to recover and have to prepare for it beforehand. It was great fun we certainly couldn't do the camping nowadays have to get back to a bath and bed. Thank you for your support we appreciate it very much ❤️

Thanks Glyn yes we love our music and go to lots of gigs and enjoy Download although living nearby we travel in each day nowadays so we can have a warm bath and comfy bed. Ah, Download. Haven’t been to Castle Donington since the Monsters of Rock ‘94 - Aerosmith headlining. I went to a few before that too. AC/DC, Maiden, saw loads of great bands there!! Really enjoying this, you’ve really caught the atmosphere of the festival…and the rain!!! You did all the days? Fair play, don’t think I could have managed that even back in the day haha. Ah, that mud!!! I seem to remember the weather being ok each time I went. I haven’t even heard of half those bands, shows how old and out of touch I am!! Really enjoyed that both 🤘🍻 Cheers
Thank you so much. We live nearby and so travel in each day nowadays makes all the difference a warm bath and comfy bed and you are ready to go again. There was a definite shift in the bands this year from the more traditional ones but still plenty of variety something for everyone to enjoy. Loved watching this and seeing you both having fun. I always wanted to go to Download. I love the music but the crowd levels and mosh pits make me cry hahaha. I bet Corey Taylor was amazing, I love his voice. Craig likes Avenged Sevenfold so he'd have loved to have seen them. Great video. Looks like you both enjoyed xx

Very jealous of you guys! That looked amazing what an experience it must have been! I love rock music with Metallica being my favourite band, my dad got me into rock when I was younger he was a big guns n roses fan! Absolutely fantastic video thank you for sharing this!
Thank you so much . Metallica were headliners last year and did 2 days with completely different sets each night. It's great to have that connection with your dad rock spans the generations .
