It shows another way that darkness is beautiful in it's own right.
It can be calm, comforting, magical and has a poetic elegance.
Absolutely! Couldn't agree with you more! 👥✨🔥💝
And i'm a fan of the Brothers Grimm (tv series and real life works).Soothing in a macarbre way.
You just explained the goth mindset😂
@@leanne9731 Thank you
exactly darkness is very beautiful
Finally. A video with no advertisements.
Honestly though, I want to relax with this music and some stupid ad comes in and interrupts the mood. Such a buzzkill.
What I usually do is skip to the end of the video, then click restart. That usually gets rids of any ads mid-video
Adblock, easy fix.
Alexander White not anymore, youtube is working around adblockers now. Luna blocked everything for me now it blocks squat since last RUclips update. Every person I've spoken too has said their Adblock not working anymore.
@@alexanderwhite3070 How do you do that?
I run horror (psychological not gorefest) themed D&D games. Right now, Curse of Strahd. I will use this at my table for ambiance with a select few others and to listen while I write. Thank you for this wonderful piece.
:) hahah im looking for some stuff for my game right now and saw your comment hahaha... its Josh btw
Ah, I love D&D roleplays!!!! Hope thats been going well for you!
Same reason I'm here, good luck with your sessions
Horror themed D&D??
Awesome!!!
I came to this video to see if it'd be appropriate for CoS. Hope your game is going well.
This music is amazing, but I can't take it seriously after seeing "Cat Trumpet" at the start. The contrast between this eerie, haunting, beautiful music and the silliness of a cat playing a trumpet is astounding and works so well. I never knew how much I needed or wanted this!
I'm writing my own Horror/Thriller book and this music really sets the tone for the writing and keeps me motivated to keep going!
Help! I'm not motivated.
I have to many ideas, and once I decide on one, it has already slipped away. I have too many thoughts for a book, but I really want to write it.
It works for gothic fantasy, too. I am writing a gothic fantasy book rn, and it really sets a mood.
It legit is making me want to cry.
@@FuraFaolox what's it about? Love stories like those
@@catl0uvre The setting is 1860s USA in a mythical forest. Americans have found this new forest, and they are taking the wood and animals that live their for food, materials, etc. The family that lives there, along with an army of elves, must stop the intruders.
I yearn to be in the darkest cemetery. Listening to this takes me to a calming place. A calming, melancholic graveyard, a place where I can rest with the dead, if only for a little while.
Take me with you! 🤫
Nice name
Here in Tennessee there is plenty of them.
I only go when a full moon appears.
Edgy... but I like it
"And so the Golden city blackened

Marvel at perfection, for it is fleeting.
You have brought Sin to Heaven
And doom upon all the world."

I just opened this video while rereading Asunder and saw this :)
absolutely beautiful and eerie at the same time love it
Thank-you for watching!

@@cattrumpet Do you have Soundcloud? It doesn't do too many ads like spotify does tbh, I don't have premium for spotify.
I love how this music and animation video tells a story without using any words. The visuals speak volumes, and the music evokes so many emotions. It's a true work of art!
The power of the music. So many emotions. So little time. It can heal you, it can make you cry, but most importantly it can make you forget.
I was drawing today, and I thought, maybe I should listen to some peaceful calming music, I then found this and I was drawing for about all the way till the video was done aka 2 hours, this is some really peaceful calming music for drawing and reading 😌
Perfect to listen to while reading:
Game of Thrones
The Broken Empire
The Dark Tower
Elric of Melniboné
Solomon Kane
The Witcher
The Talisman
i'm reading Batman
You forgot the Mistborn novels.
I would like to add the Silmarillion to the list.
thank you for recomandations! searched for titles like these
i am reading algebra
I love to emerge myself when I'm reading; if I'm reading a Scottish novel, I listen to Scottish, if I'm reading a Dark Romance, I listen to Dark Romance instrumental; I write to, for fun and I do the same thing; listen to inspiring music.
I love reading a creepy book while dozing off to sleep and listening to this music.
This piece of music is one of my favourites for reading.
💀👻💀
Chilling out just listening to this. Added to my playlist, sometimes need the brake from metal EDM ect..

October 10, 2023.
This year, my love for horrors and mystic music comes back to life. Thank you for this. 😊🖤
This is my FAVORITE music to listen to with my current project I'm working on.
very dark fantasy indeed...reminds me of indie/horror/mystery type games
Their Epic music carries a strong motivational force. Listening to their music is like embarking on a journey, an experience that you cannot help but be immersed in.
I use this for writing as well. My first book will be published this year.
A soothing strike right to the soul. I'm not a musician, do listening to the long strikes (violent or Chelo) that feel they tell a story of pain and happiness all in one... Just magical, comforting amd peaceful.
Just what one needs to recharge for a chaotic week ahead.
Thank you for sharing your talent❤️
This pulls me apart from reality ! I am having Covid and stuck in my room so I am painting my nails while having my favorite watermelon beverage while listening to this ! Loved it before and even more so now !
This is exactly what I need for writing my second Lycan novel. Thank you for posting it.
Holy heck, this really does work perfectly. It fits the mood just perfectly.
Am I the only one who uses this music to calm down from nervousness?
I use it at night for when i sleep. It helps my mind relax at night and not think about anything. Very peaceful
This is exactly what I was looking for! I need this for the fantasy book/series that I've been working on lately
Skyrim vibes are hitting me hard in my brain
Just love the Skyrim atmosphere music!
I went down to the porch, my head spinning with a million thoughts at once on one hand, but also feeling numb on the other. Seated on one of our garden chairs was a young man. He had dark, messy hair, dark clothes, and a slight smirk on his lips. As he saw me, he stood up and greeted me with a slight bow. His movements were smooth and silent. Startled, I backed away, a lump forming in the back of my throat. We stared at each other for what felt like an eternity until I felt the cold glass of our sliding porch door behind my back. The sensation jolted my consciousness out of this haze and back to reality. Reality? This felt more like a dream than any dream I’d ever experienced. Or rather a nightmare. I shivered and my knees gave in. I sunk to the ground, pulling my knees close to my chest, like I’d surrendered to my fate. Whatever it might be. The man still looked at me with his deep dark eyes. He knelt down without making a single sound. He was still smiling. It seemed warm, understanding. Words formed on my lips before I knew what I was saying:
“Who are you?” And for the first time, the man opened his mouth and spoke with a tenderness I could not have expected:
“They call me the Feaster of Fools.” I swallowed hard.
“Fools?”, I croaked, my voice barely above a whisper. “Am I one of those Fools?”
Before I knew it hot tears streamed down my cheeks. I looked down, staring at the ground until I had gathered enough courage to raise my gaze and meet his again. This time I could only get out a tiny whisper: “I’m scared.” A quiet sob shook my body. “I’m scared. I don’t want to go.” The man leaned on one of his knees with his elbow and sighed:
“No, you’re not. You would be if you weren’t scared.” He continued: “I’m just here to make sure you are safe and ready.” I looked at him, eyes wide and glimmering. “We are not on a time limit. It’s okay for you to take your time.” He looked at me very intently. “And once you have gathered your things and you are ready, then and only then, we will leave.”
With those words, it was as if something snapped. The tears just wouldn’t stop. Like an endless flood, the water kept coming, accompanied by violent shaking and howls of grief. And the man stayed right there. Right next to me. Just as he said he would. Patient and solemn.
Hauntingly beautiful...
Thank-you for watching!

Have a great day!
In the shadowed tapestry of familial bonds, there exists a rare gem, a big sister who defies the norm. Like a haunting melody in a forgotten cathedral, her care weaves through the corridors of my heart, defying the bitter winds of expectation. In the darkness, she stands as a beacon of warmth, a sanctuary in the midst of the storm. Her love, unexpected yet cherished, is a testament to the beauty found in the most unlikely places
Perfect tone to keep my gothic writing more effectively...
I read The Goldfinch while listening to this and it was perfect
Dark fantasy book recommendations:
-Malazan book of the Fallen by Steven Erikson
-Book of the New Sun by Gene Wolfe
-The Second Apocalypse by R. Scott Bakker
All dense reads, you won't always be sure of exactly what is happening all the time, but they all have incredible atmospheres (especially BotNS).
This is how my heart feels everyday this is exactly the tune And The Beat of my Heart
Still listening to this to fall asleep at night. Only wish it was longer.
Started reading the Nevernight series. This fits almost perfectly. Thank you 👌
The picture is where I wanna be so bad rn and just stay there, I don’t wanna know the way out, I want it to be dark, and then I can just sit in a grave yard and relax, I can do this at my house rn to but it’s not a forest it’s a cornfield and the graves are from 1830-1890 and I love talking with them, they are just like me and I absolutely love them, Don’t think I’m crazy because I’m not even 13 yet but I love these kind of things,
This is just baffling me. I cannot manage to comprehend this.
I agree
I'm on the same page. It's okay to love dark things. Some people are just a bit different and that's a rad thing :) stay dark dude
Dark is just a lower vibration of light, go where you're called. Beware the dangers, and even those can be in the light. Merry meet friend.
I totally understand what you mean. Graveyards are some of the most relaxing places. My sister and I sometimes walk through cemeteries, just silently walking, taking in the tranquility and peace of the resting souls. Dark doesn't equate to bad--you keep enjoying these dark things.
Perfect for reading and studying.
I can picture myself strolling in a grave yard in August. Reading a horror story with a coffee in my other hand. :) beautiful to sleep to or read too.
Really helps me stay focused while I write, thanks for making this!
O MEU DEUS, uma sombria musica de floresta, estou surpreso com isto, muito bonita e relaxante tambem
I listen to it while I'm writing on my fantasy novel ... and almost fell asleep ... it's so damn relaxing!
It is realy good and relaxing music it help me a lot to calm down
Dark music is the best
Thank you for this inspiring video. It's perfect for outlining and writing dark or gothic fantasy.
In the depths of darkness, I seek comfort, shielded from the harshness of the outside world. Within the intricate web of my family ties, there are conflicting threads that intertwine, creating a melancholic narrative.
In hushed whispers, I reveal the presence of a profound divide, a rift that seems insurmountable. Their hearts beat to a different rhythm, while mine resonates with the somber notes of sadness. Yet, amidst this ethereal gloom, two shining stars emerge, unwavering in their brilliance.
My younger sister, a delicate but also a withered flower amidst this barren garden, her innocence brings solace to my troubled soul. Through the abyss that separates us, she emanates a ray of hope, illuminating the endless night. And my beloved, a kindred spirit in this ghostly realm, her love becomes a sanctuary for my weary spirit.
Therefore, in the midst of this funereal silence, I cling to them tightly, treasuring the fragments of light within this haunted tapestry. I am aware that love, though concealed, still resides in the deepest recesses of my heart
while willing to read something from edgar allan poe cause i'm in that mood, i've came across this beauty. seriously, it is so calming and beautiful and ethereal. i can't even-
by the way, i recommend reading "eleonora" with this masterpiece playing on the background. everything turned out more dreamy, fantasy-like.
thank you so much !!
Here's me reading berserk listening to this :D
I try so hard to get away from sadness, loneliness, anxiety, and depression... But I keep coming back to them...
Me too . I hope you’re doing better .☹️
Beautiful!
Please please get a bandcamp account! Bandcamp sounds so much better compared to iTunes and amazon, especially when it comes to instrumental music.
Really? I bought all mine on itunes... have I basically wasted my money? *bites nails nervously* XD
Bandcamp is not much better the sound quality depends on you choosing the right one for your system, mp3 high quality is the same on ITunes as it is on Bandcamp...
Listening to this so I can pour my heart out ...which is easier than doing something else.....
Excellent writing music. I love to listen to this while working on my darker stories.
This reminded me of Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura's soundtrack. I want to play that game again because of this video. It's also helping me write, so thank you! Beautifully haunting music.
The repetitive nature of this piece makes it helpful for studying and writing. Thank you
I stumbled apon this and now i have chills
Vison Valo laglo sune... Sotti I
Opurbo....❤️❤️
Such emotion, beauty, and elegant torture 🖤
one of the best instrumental music ever!
Is it strange that I listen to this to put me to sleep every night
I hope not. If so, we're both strange. Its very soothing. I love going to sleep with this while it's raining outside. That may be strange. 😴
That violin just holds your attention. It's telling me to not look away.
Is this the most thematic music to write a book about superheroes to? Why not.
This, Victorian influenced, capture is absolutely beautiful... The lone headstone, in the woods... 😶🖤
Came here looking for ambiance music for my dark fey DnD setting 👍
This works perfectly for my fantasy novel
🧡
Good to listen while having a nightcap and going to sleep...
Music sounds so beautiful love it I connect my Bluetooth to my car stereo and play this video and feel so amazing inside while I'm driving around the country side I'm from massachusetts my name is Tony
Oooo I had this on my watch later for awhile now and last night I popped it before bed. I had some dark/mysterious dreams. I will def be putting this on a main playlist .
We can hate love and love hate
but that means we will always have the emotions we don't want
Obsessed with this song right now....it calms me down...
It doesn't help my depression though. Heh
it gives me some very relaxing vibes.
Oh my goth ♥
i enjoy using this to meditate at cemeteries, i’m a medium so i enjoy communicating with the spirits
Thank u for doing this. At least it makes me darker and darker and maybe a little better.
I love writing to this!! Great music! thanks for it.
I've been working on a dnd campaign with my fiance that he's running and this is perfect music to work to. Love the entire thing, it's so calming and has the right amount of eerie feeling.
I listen to this and many others while I write to help me with motivation and keep me focused
if anyone else here plays minecraft and your into building huge structeres castles towns etc i recommend stuff like this or skyrim music also youll be surprised at how much more creative you are
I’m doing a amazing monologue while listening to this. It helps me so much to get into character.
Listen to "sixth station" from spirited away. It has the same vibe as the first song but with a way higher quality and played with actual orchestra, i highly advice so
This helped me write a super haunting poem! Love this!
I just listened to this for like hours and I don't regret it. I just in a lost princess vibe🃏
Listening while reading House of Night.
what I listened to while reading the Beautiful Creatures series, it made my experience ten times better ! Thank you :)
Tears not flowing, you just kinda sit there , empty..
Thank you! This is the perfect BGM for horror manga! Just the right mix of atmospheric, calming, and foreboding. ^_^

I really want to wander such forest.
This expresses how i truly feel
My favorite score ever, every time I read or write, even when I am doing nothing, I listen to this theme, and I feel like I am trapped in a tragedy
Perfecta para leer libros dramáticos. Ahora estoy leyendo "El laberinto del Fauno" y esta música me hacer visualizar cada página que leo. Nota: no he visto la película.
This sounds like something out of a horror detective game, something that I could hear playing in the background in for example Dracula franchise.
Love to listen to while working...congratulations it's so beautiful, magical...dark :)
Studying and Sleeping at the same time 😎
This help’s a lot thank you! I like to listen to this and practice my stretching or getting a positive vibe to do the Witchery I do thank you 🙏

I liked listening to this while reading The Raven. It helped give it that depressing vibe
