Thank You!! What a gem! As a young lad hearing them for the first time I was blown away by their music. Amazing musicians and the way they wrote music which were more like journeys / trips that just songs. They seldom went straight ahead but would go around on the scenic route blending blues, metal, Jazz along with delicate melodies along the way. Hands down my favorite band.
This is a gem. My introduction to Black Sabbath was Ozzy's Speak Of The Devil Album at age 13-1992. If you haven't checked out Black Widow and Coven you need to. They got brushed aside over the years.
yes, it's like whatever riff or chord pattern begins the song, the rest of the song, all the parts no matter how disparate they seem from each other, are still variations on that initial idea, it's so fun to play their songs on guitar especially ones with many parts like Killing Yourself To Live or of course Into the Void.
@@matthewvoss7365 Coven's first album is one of best of all time. The guitar on it is so complex even today Jinx's bands have trouble playing the songs correctly.
@@DebtheReb1369 I think he is referring to Sabbath thinking their debut album would be a live one. Afterwards they were completely surprised that it was professionally transformed and hit the charts.

My first album. It has only just come to my attention that BS covered this but sang different lyrics, as the original was I was warned about you baby and Ozzy sings I was born without you. The original made more sense but it's still one of my fav albums.
That’s why they never included none that they did in 68 as Earth or 69 right before the recording of “black sabbath, gotta respect that! They wanted to debut with just stuff if theirs!
@@richardhincemon9423 Yes!! All their songs from the first few albums would paint a very vivid picture. Even the guitar solos, the drums and the bass would portray a story. For example, the ending solo of war pigs, depicts a picture of destruction, ending solo of Iron man also depicts destruction caused by the Iron man, the ending solo of N.I.B portrays the conversion of Lucifer into a good guy. Etc etc .

My God, this is pure art. I LOVE IT! 😍

Funny how spot on this is to the album recording I guess they weren’t kidding when they said it was live in studio
I think it is a studio outtake, probably not a club performance. It sounds like a muddy version of the record

Genio y figura desde su nacimiento, Black Sabbath for ever 🤟🤟🤟
Now the first day that I met ya
I was looking in the sky
When the sun turned all a blur
And the thunderclouds rolled by
The sea began to shiver
And the wind began to moan
It must've been a sign for me
To leave you well alone
I was born without you, baby
But my feelings were a little bit too strong
You never said you love me
And I don't believe you can
'Cause I saw you in a dream
And you were with another man
You looked so cool and casual
And I tried to look the same
But now I've got to know ya
Tell me who have I to blame?
I was born without you, baby
But my feelings were a little bit too strong
Just a little bit too strong
Now the whole wide world is movin'
'Cause there's iron in my heart
I just can't keep from cryin'
'Cause you say we've got to part
Sorrow grips my voice as I stand here all alone
And watch you slowly take away
A love I've never known
I was born without you, baby
But my feelings were a little bit too strong
Just a little bit too strong
It should have been, “I was warned about you baby, but my feelings were a little bit too strong.”

to be honest the lyrics make no sense on the sabbath version
which is weird cause they were pretty good song writers at the time
Thanks RUclips!

Best pop band in world
great lost B/S song lost in time , I dare big company classic rock radio to play the studio version .
Geezer butler. Top 2 of all time

Esse som do Sabbath é muito foda!! Warning é uma das melhores do álbum
Where it all started.
at 5 minutes they go into 'Sudden life' by Man
Seen them many times real close at Eastown and Grande ballrooms i n late 60s.....detroit...😢😢
Black Sabbath first tour of the United States started in late October 1970 Unganos Club Manhattan ended in December 1970.
How loud did they sound when they played Motor City? Were they as heavy at the time as The Stooges, MC-5 or Ted Nugent and the Amboy Dukes?
18 minutes, wicked! wonder if Aynsley Dunbar heard it, Alex Dmochowski must've come up with that riff
So badass
Tony's guitar solo is incredibly lengthy compaired to the studio version 1970. Wonder how many people are the audience here, probably like 100.
i guess that's how Ozzy's addictions started: "oh, yeah, you play that solo for the next 15 mins, you'll find me at the bar"
❤❤
Jam session!!! 💥💯
People don't realize that early Black Sabbath is just heavy jazz.
This is an Aynsley Dunbar song.
Nah blues bro

In 1969 Tony had all his fingers.

Shouldn't they say "I was WARNED about you baby"?
