exactly what I was thinking, I love the joy she gets from it. I'm a guitarist too and I can relate to that feeling when you bend a clever string and it sounds amazing
Fantastic! Of the many songs you perform, my favorites seem to be the ones you have composed. Look forward to seeing you in person again. Keep up the great work.
I can't help but keep coming back every day to watch this again. I am fascinated. Such talent. So glad I subscribed to your channel. Smiles......Pamela
Glad I found this again. Lovely, lovely playing. I'm very envious of that harp guitar but you truly make it sing. Thanks for sharing. All the best, Helen
Muriel, you are absolutely amazing! Love this video! Thank you (again) for your inspiration! Hope to see you next time you return to the Tampa Bay area. My Best, Ed
Thank you for posting this amazing piece. This, along with Castles in the Sand are my favorite cuts from the Wildcat CD. The latter always brings me to tears because of the inspiration that spawned it.
Hello, Muriel: I am 74 and a guitar player. Mind you, not a guitarist such as yourself. I played country music and taught my guitar all I could. Hopefully, after I'm gone someone will take my guitar and teach it some more. I just want you to know that whoever gets your harp guitar or any of your other guitars after your gone will have an awful lot to learn before being able to teach yours anything. You have a complete orchestra in your instruments. Thank you for your videos, they are absolutely wonderful. View From Space gave me a front seat visual to see our approaching a planet and passing and continuing on. It was beautifully done!
WOW Muriel, never heard of you before finding you on youtube(sorry about that) but you are wonderful. Now i'm looking at all your clips.(Never heard od a harp Guitar either but then l am no musical talent so.......)
It is probably amplified, as are other acoustic guitars that need to be heard by a large group. The bass notes are from the wonderful "harp" half of this amazing instrument. Note that the body extends way up, instead of there being a neck, so there is a lot of room for resonance. (I know what I want for Christmas this year!!)
At the end of the performance I see now, there's an amp, and at about 3:21 it looks like a chord is plugged into the guitar - anyway they got that awesome sound for the video - I have a real hard time with people who post a musical performance and the sound is crap, unless it's a really old clip. Muriael is awesom, so Tommy E, Doyle D, and friends - youtube is great
I love how she smiles when she plays. She's phenomenally gifted and seems to love what she's doing.
Keep smiling Muriel! Thank You.

Fantástico!
she was worth the trip. Bok Sanctuary's Tower was also great.bells for her.
Simply etherial and spiritual...
Wow, is that incredible bass coming out of the instrument into the mic or is it amplified? Anybody know?

This is the very definition of a lilting melody. It reminds me of Archie Fisher's song Lindsay.
i am gonna seeher in lake wales fla tomorrow night.got my tix.second time
a mylon string harp guitar would be an amazing instrument to transcribe lute music onto.dont you think?
I'm speechless. Makes Marshall stacks and hot rod Les Pauls sort of obselete...
to be on the top is not(besoin) to be virtous.Agreable sound
Actually, I should have said "Unbelievable".
