- Tips for finding the best spacing between TV and electric fireplace.
Adding a fireplace to a room doesn’t have to be a challenge. With an electric fireplace and a little design help, it’s easy to create an inviting space that you’ll love to share with friends and family.
Did you know that an electric fireplace gives you more control than a gas or wood- burning fireplace? Adjust the heat levels to best accommodate you room size and desired temperature. Or choose to only display the visual beauty without any heat!

You're welcome!
I am very grateful for you advice as I plan TV/electric fireplace wall in my first home. I purchased a 72" fireplace for my 65" TV. Thanks again
Sounds perfect! Glad we could help.
I did the same would say mines about 12" no problems with heat at all looks impressive aswell but fit an air vent top and bottom both sides only need small ones.
Hi - i have s new gas fireplace and need help finish your it! Do you do that? Im so stuck- wish i could send a pic-
Hi. We do create custom cabinetry around fireplaces, usually electric. We do not do general contract work, like building walls or installing stone & tile. You can always send pics to the contact info on our website.
Also how close to the floor can you put your fireplace
You can put it as close as you like to the floor. However, we like linear fireplaces to be 12 - 16" off the floor if there is a TV above, and as high as 30-36" off the floor if there is no TV above.
What about an electric fireplace wired 220 volt?
That's a great question! It shouldn't make a difference, as the heater is still not blowing up on the TV or heating up the wall cavity. However, if you are at all concerned, just be sure to leave at least 8" between the top of the fireplace and the bottom of the TV. Visually, it doesn't look good to have the fireplace closer than that anyway.
Can I still mount the TV over my watch reporter boys in a bedroom
@@googlehas I'm sorry, but I don't understand your question. Please try again.... I think auto-fill may have disrupted your message.
My advice is don’t place a TV over a fireplace.
