    Not even a padres or dodgers fan, but me and a buddy of mine went to game 2 in LA for the hope of seeing the Dodgers lose. Then after watching game 3 together me and him booked tickets for game 4 in SD. When I tell you that I never saw or heard a stadium get that out of control than in that 7th inning during the rally and after the final out, not kidding it was like a zoo in there. Best environment I’ve ever seen live by far.

      That means a lot to this San Diegan!! It was thrilling to watch the game on TV here at home, my daughter got to go to game 3 and she came home with no voice left! She said it was crazy good!

      Read comments. I like. Should have been at The Q in '98. Randy Johnson vs. Kevin Brown in game 1 (vs Houston) Padres win set the stage for the loudest I'd ever heard SD when they returned home. Tony, Cammy, Fins, Joyner and Vaughn. Helluva lineup. When we clinched to play Atl next, I couldnt hear anything for 24 hrs. No regrets! Grateful I got to share it with my girl and friends. This 2022 series was phenomenal no doubt. 'BEAT LA' never gets old. Can u imagine when LA starts chanting 'Beat San Diego!' Probably happen in 2023. #SDFANS

    • @rainbowrunner1550
      @rainbowrunner1550 11 месяцев назад

      @@pjam07pjam It's quite interesting how both the D-Backs and Padres have had a comparable history with their recent Postseason runs. They got swept by the Dodgers in the NLDS (2017 and 2020), then they avenged their losses in their fateful rematches (2022 and 2023). Then, the Padres and D-Backs played the Phillies in the NLCS after beating LA.
      There are some Padres fans who made a Dodgers diss track called "Slam Diego Love", which inspired me to make one of my own "D-Backs Beat LA Hoedown". And I actually went to Game 3 of the NLDS this year, and it was so satisfying to hear the Beat LA chants ringing throughout Chase Field (which I'm sure also happened at Petco Park in 2022). It's by far the best game I've ever been to as of yet. It's always a good day when our biggest arch rivals are defeated.
      While I'm a lifelong D-Backs fan, I also have mad respect for other teams. Namely, I'd want both the Padres and Rockies to win the World Series one day since they're the only NL West teams who haven't yet.

      Inaccurate. The Padres did no so such thing. The Dodgers were simply the superior team prior to the trade deadline. Once the Padres acquired Soto & Bell, they were a whole new team - it obviously made them a better but also gave them hope that they could do it. Also, the 6 days off between the end of the regular season and NLDS certainly did a number on the Dodgers', Braves', & Yankees' starting pitching. I had full faith the Phillies and Padres would win the NLWCS but the NLDS was a shocker.

    Dodgers be like in the postseason: ok this has to be our year, turner, Freddie freeman, betts, etc, have been playing out of there minds this has to be our year right?
    Game 1: You mop the floor like school kids you got this now!
    Game 2: you get a touchdown scored on a home run and still loose but no one seriously injured like in the past.
    Game 3: you try and pull a reverse card on San Diego and it almost works but the padres escape with a W 2-1 you better not blow it this year like you have in the past right?
    Game 4: San Diego mops you like the typical average janitor at the McDonald’s close to your house, you blew it again LA.
    As a giants fan they where the best team in the league and they still can’t win a World Series what are you the packers of the MLB in the playoffs?

    3:28 such a great moment. The organist starts playing time to say goodbye as a way to taunt the Padres and their fans. Then the Padres win three straight, LOL!
    I don't know if the Dodger starting pitchers are made of glass or if Roberts doesn't understand that seeing the same bullpen guys over and over improves the batters' chances. Either way, San Diego thanks Dave Roberts for his management style.
