Space Marine II - 01 - Prologue

The first installment in an ‪@gamerphd‬ playthrough of Space Marine 2. In this mission, we play as a member of the Deathwatch tasked with deploying a viral bomb into the stratosphere of Kadaku to stop the Tyranid's assault of the planet. As we learn the controls, we are quickly separated from the other members of our team and must battle against increasingly difficult enemies. We fight our way to a Mechanicus facility from which we will be able to deploy the weapon and stop the Tyranids. However, there are several surprises in store. This was my first experience with any Warhammer franchise game, and I really enjoyed myself. The controls are mostly intuitive, and the combat is well-balanced. Come along for what will be an interesting playthrough.
