That is the only legacy we should be caring about leaving on this world, everything else is lies. It's not about how much time you have but what you do with it, so live well and breathe free.

Beyond that. With the Aldecados we destroy Mikoshi, Arasaka, and extend V’s lifespan by 6 months. If we could do that in just a few weeks. Imagine what V, and the Aldecados could get done in 6 months. Sure it doesn’t sound like a-lot of time to Cure V. But it’s more than enough.
Hell even if V isn’t cured. He/She goes out Surrounded by a new family of loved ones. Cruising The desert with the sun on their skin, and wind in their hair. Sounds like a good life to me.

Considering CDPR's track record, I'd expect this to be the second DLC similar to Touissant for Geralt.

This ending is probably the happiest for V, but I think Johnny's ending is the best one overall. V only gets 6 months, Johnny gets a whole new life to live. He gets a 2nd chance, something people like him rarely do, and you can tell he grew as a person and is not going to waste it. It's such a fantastic ending. Aside from the fact that Hanako and Takemura don't make it (It's sad that I wish I'd let Takemura go out on his own terms, rather than saving him), pretty much everyone gets a happy ending.
It's so nice to see Judy actually happy, having left Night City behind, and V and Panam get a real future to look forward to, since it's heavily implied that V's medical condition can be significantly slowed, or even stopped with the right treatment, contrary to what Alt says.
Sure, he might not live as long as Panam, but according to Misty's Tarot (Which throughout the game, is never wrong) he has a bright future ahead!

@@0jutai Alt's Intelligence is limited to Arasaka's infrastructure. There is no future for V in Night City as confirmed by V and Delemain's conversation on the way to the Afterlife in the merc ending. For V to live, they need to find help somewhere else. In any case, he/she gets to spend it with people that actually care about him/her.
I think DLC will revolve around multiple endings for the game. For one, they definitely need to do Crystal Palace. Another one could revolve around visiting another city in the NUSA. Also, it would be cool to play as another character and meet V (though this is highly unlikely from a gameplay perspective due to being easier to simply continue playing as V). CDPR hinted that we, as the player influence V's choices, but by the end of the game (if you control Johnny) V has their own personality separate from player control

@@pizzasaurolophus The Devil ending is widely considered to be the worst. You kill Johnny, sell out to a corporation and help them exploit more people, and it's a living nightmare. However, as long as V chooses to return to Earth, I think the ending is pretty good. Even though V makes the wrong decision, she still changes as a character because allying with Arasaka teaches her that her dogged pursuit of survival is wrong. Looking at Earth, V realizes that a free life is better than a chance at immortality, and she holds onto the necklace. She even sings 'Never Fade Away,' showing that there's still a part of Johnny inside her. In this ending, Johnny says something to V before he dies, "What matters is the principle. The code you live by that defines who you are. It shows you the way home and puts you back together again," and V takes it to heart.

OMG that scene in The Witcher 3 was a gut punch. Geralt is supposed to be really good at suppressing his emotions but he totally loses it when he turns over Ciri and that was painful. In fact that entire scene was so well done. Like even the way he enters the room, he opens the door slowly, and walks in there slowly, like there's a grave threat in there that he doesn't want to meet but knows he has to. And that game really set that moment up beautifully too, since it doesn't happen until like many many hours into the game, so you've already invested so much into the game and then bam that happens... Ugh, the memories of playing The Witcher 3... And yes, Cyberpunk was a wonderful ride as well, but that Ciri scene has to be the absolute best emotional gaming moment for me...

That sounds like a really nice way to go about it, but I also think there’s something poetic about being a Nomad who loses their way in the city, but learns what it was exactly they lost by leaving their nomad family at the start. After losing Jackie and making new friends, they find their new family and leave the city with their family and the person they love. Maybe they won’t live long, but they’ll live with their family to the end.

Yes this is my Canon ending for Corpo V. He's been inside, he's seen the corruption and dog eat dog attitude of the corporations enough to reject it and have life as a Nomad have a real grounded appeal.
Street kid V wouldn't know any better, he wouldn't have the life experience and might think being a corpo was all champaigne and limos, so the arasaka ending is my canon one for him. Nomad V as an outsider might feel like he's out of his depth and so would be more likely to turn to an "expert", ie Johnny and Rogue, so that's my canon ending for him.

V leaving Night City with the Aldecados in search of a new life. A short one but it doesn’t matter, what matters is the lives of all the people that V has helped along the way, their lives has forever changed for the better. Panam, Judy.... As for V, when you only have 6 months to live, it’s where you truly realize how short life is and starts to appreciate its value. That moment on the Basilisk under the night sky and over the water, is the moment when I really felt it in my heart. Just how precious it is. This would be amazing. Not only would it fill out the storyline pieces I care most about, it would also leave the people who picked corpo ending high and dry, and that's what corpo sellouts deserve :)
Jokes aside, my money's on a crystal palace DLC first. Why? Well, the connection is obvious for the Sun ending (Secret ending or Rogue ending) since you're literally floating there at the end.
But where's the connection for the Nomad ending? There is one! In the lore, the Aldecaldos have a LOT of ties to a corporation called StormTech Corp, who do bioengineering (including neurological engineering). It's not directly referenced in game, but I'll wager that the "contacts" Panam says she has probably work for that corp.
But what does that have to do with Crystal Palace? Well, StormTech has holdings on the Crystal Palace satellite. I think it's very, very likely that for both The Star and The Sun endings, Mr Blue Eyes will have you do a heist on customer info for the Crystal Palace and then while you're there, direct you to heh, storm the StormTech facilities, as a "payment"- and there, you'll find the start of a plot thread for finding a way to last longer than 6 months. The Sun ending has you already doing this, but I bet in The Star ending you'll get a call from Mr Blue Eyes who'll explain to you what the job is, and you'll be able to leverage the Nomad's resources instead of the shuttle provided by Mr. Blue Eyes.

It's such a perfect ending, regardless of the lifepath you chose.
Nomad V already understands the importance of a nomad family. The cameraderie and closeness that you can't get anywhere else. They thought that after leaving the Bakkers, they didn't need it anymore, but after meeting Panam, and getting involved with the Aldecaldos made them realise that everything Night City has to offer is hollow, and false in comparison. They're back where they belong.
Corpo and Street Kid V's both grew up with Night City as all they'd ever known. But after exiting that tunnel, and coming out onto the lake, with nothing but the sky, the stars, and Panam beside them, they realise that the weight of the world has just been lifted from their shoulders. That first deep breath of fresh air, and the start of a new life.
If you convince Judy to leave, she shares the same sentiment. Living out in Oregon, she's free of the opressive, fake atmosphere of Night City. Just out there, enjoying what life has to offer.

You try to save yourself from the chip and on the way you meet Panam, you realize how many thing you have in common with her, fall in love and then when the time comes she and her clan stand by your side, you suddenly become a part of clan again, but this time everything is perfect, except from the fact that I will only last for 6 months.

    • @JB-xl2jc

The way I see it, Nomad V is saved by Panam. I don't mean literally. But it's easy to feel like you're constantly bailing Panam out when doing her questline. She calls and it's kinda like "Ooook who do you need me to save now?". Was happy to do it, but it really feels like V is always riding in to save the day.
But for a Nomad V, who left behind what remained of the Bakkers to fall into the trap of Night City, Panam saves him in a different way. Sure there's the chip, and her ending has her and the Aldecaldos putting everything on the line to save you.
But above and beyond that, Panam saves V's soul. She gets him out of Night City, out of that quicksand. She's the only ending I think would lead to lasting fulfillment, even if it may not be forever. Being the best in Night City is the biggest white elephant in all history.

"The star" ending with Panam and Judy by my side made up for all the quirks, QOL issues and missing interactivity the game has. When this game works and all of its designs come together, it's definitely one of the best thing ever happened to gaming. Pyramid Song, the Arasaka parad, the Heist, Panam, the Peralez, US Cracks, so many wonderful moments.
How many games had you dig a tunnel under a gigantic corpo building and infiltrate it from the bottom, seeing the gigantic pistons protecting it from earthquakes ? How many had you dive with a potential love interest to discover a flooded city and hear your companion thoughts and memories as you go along ? How many games had you feel like a rockstar god playing gigs in front of an audience ?
As for the life paths, it comes from a mind fantasy but, I loved to see my corpo V losing it all, trying to then win it back with some vengeance while chasing the illusions the city laid in front of her by becoming a merc, only to realize the City is only there to eat you alive, as it did with Judy, with Rogue, with Jackie, all those broken souls who at some point believed in those illusions to end up deceived by it. What's important is being with who you care about, thus leaving the city as a nomad with Panam and Judy. Turned out the City had been my biggest enemy all along, not the chip. This Corpo becoming Nomad was sweet and emotional. It felt like a long lasting redemption. Like an answer which was always in front of her eyes, but she needed that particular journey to understand it.
I hope there is more in store for V, Judy and Panam. This trio, along with the other wonderful side characters featured in the game, made it overall one of the best narrative experiences I've ever played.

So, if you know a bit about the lore from the TTRPG, you feel a lot less depressed for V. Because there are actually a bunch of different ways to fix what is happening to you. On the simple side, you have bioware that overrides your immune system so it stops fucking with your brain, then there's nanites that repair what the relic did you and if you really can't get your body to stop killing itself, you can ditch it and get your brain transplanted into one of a whole lineup of full-body cyborg chassis. I'd personally go for the Raven Microcybernetics Gemini, which is almost indistinguishable from a human body if you aren't running a scanner over it.
