Brilliant Mate! I'd love to see more 'practical and safe' riding videos. Brings back memories and a big smile of when I used to do it the same way. And also why I stopped renting Motorbikes and bought a car.
Absolutely 100% lethal being on those roads, what with drunk tourists on motorcycles or incompetent locals that follow NO road rules. Fancy seeing a couple of existing subbies (or maybe just viewers) on the road there. ALL YOU VIEWERS, those unsubscribed that watch Vlogging a Dead Horse videos daily and keep coming back for more, of which I reckon there are plenty then It costs NOTHING but really helps kick on the channel and enables Sean to do what he does and entertain the masses. Hey Sean I have a question off topic about motorcycles. I have heard about thailand bringing a new law requiring anyone entering thailand requires 2 covid jabs to enter the country. Do u think u will have trouble next time your visa expires and you need to leave.

An interesting Vlog Sean about road travels,at least at the checkpoints the police seem ok and polite! If you get pulled up in the uk they tend to be on power trips lol and treat you like a second class person ! As you said some really bad Thai drivers and a few bad Foreigners too just keep your wits about you and like you said keep them peeled 👀👀,take care stay safe buddy enjoy you happy ending and a LEO 😎👍🙏🍺🍺

Sean check your travel insurance small print as a man from Wales had a motorbike crash on Ko Tao on Boxing Day and he’s insurance won’t pay out because he had been away from the Uk for more than 31 days.
Part of the problem is that nobody wears proper gear because it is fucking hot. It is rough being stuck in traffic on 35 when it is 102* and 70% humidity and the sun is burning down on top of you. We got in an accident on our big bike when some folks in a sedan merged us right over and we fell with the bike on our side after being knocked sideways. The bike had minor scratches, I was ok (but i had on heavy boots and gloves and a helmet) My wife got pretty scratched up in her safety flipflops and pretty silk shirt. Her helmet got banged up, so it was a good thing she had it on. Wear proper gear and do not drive at night, don't drive loaded and remember that the roads are full of potholes and folks that will drive the wrong way without lights at night (anytime really) . A measure of prayer is helpful for some.

You can only get a 1 year international driving license in the UK your lucky the Thai police don't know that who ever wrote that driving license made a mistake
There's in fact 3 Uk IDP's dependent on which countries you're visiting .
The 1949 IDP covering Thailand & Malaysia is valid 1 year . For Phillipines & Vietnam you need the 1968 IDP valid for 3 years

In Thailand the driving is insane, Lot's of young kids on scooters thinking their the best riders and quicky learn that their not. If you have a driving licence issued with a bike stamp on it you must sit a CBT test in the UK before you go because if you hire a bike and it's above a certain CC your travel insurance will not cover you in the event of an injury. There is a hill going into Phuket after it rains it's as slippy as hell going down it. Do not risk riding without crash helmet your bones can heal your brain can't.
I summon the police as well to show me their credentials and drivers license when police checked ... hahahahaha

Get an international driving permit (IDP)
You can get an IDP over the counter at the Post Office.
They cost £5.50 and you must:
live in Great Britain or Northern Ireland
have a full UK driving licence
be 18 or over
Check if you need an IDP first.
A 1926 or 1949 permit lasts for 12 months. A 1968 permit lasts for 3 years or until your UK driving licence expires, whichever comes first
