    Another great video, filled with first-class information and explanations about the different bus types that make up Phuket's public transportation system. It must be something to do with RUclips algorithms, because you should be attracting many tens of thousands of views and a proportional number of subscribers. Whatever it is, thank you sincerely for this public service work you're doing for the rest of us!

    Great. How do I get to the Rassada pier from the airport or Phuket town?

    • @thailandtony
      @thailandtony  Месяц назад

      The easiest would be use Bolt or Grab Taxi apps as I don't believe the blues buses at Phang Nga rd run that way but it maybe worth asking

    Very helpful and great explanated as always from you Tony! My Wife and I will be on Phuket for the first time by the end of April. I heard for the Smart-Bus there are different Day-Passes available.
    Do you know if the 10-Days Pass is only for use for the Smart-Bus or can we use the orange Airport-Busses, the Blue Bus and the pink Phuket Busses with this Day-Pass aswell?

      it normally parks up at the southern end of the beach by the small roundabout then drives up beach road so you need to keep an eye out for it and flag it down it should stop unless its full just make sure the driver sees u

    Phuket to Bangkok, via coach, a 13 hour journey? Forget it. This mode of transport is only meant for local Thais who cannot afford the airfare. 🇹🇭

      Travelled 2X from the Suvarnahbumi Airport to Pattaya , 2 hours & 150 B !. Taxi B. 1500 !.

    • @user-kc1tf7zm3b

      @@user-jl3ny9zj2z A taxi can make the trek from the airport to Pattaya in just 80 minutes. With nearly all travellers visiting Thailand as a couple, this reduces the per person cost is only THB 750, or AUD $33. Considering the convenience, comfort and obvious time savings of having private transport, the cost is definitely worthwhile.
      To be frank, if a traveller baulks at the measly THB 750 taxi cost, then he ought not be travelling overseas in the first instance. Travelling overseas is a privilege with commensurate expenses being considerable.
