Tony I was intending to go to Phuket just after the borders opened up again early 2022. Did a bit of research on the smart bus. They used to charge more for longer journeys if I'm not mistaken. 100 baht flat rate simplifies the fares structure I guess. You could also get a 3 day pass for a few hundred baht more. Great value if you're doing multiple trips. I was wondering how long you'd have to wait for the bus. 15 minutes late is ok. Smart bus had a reputation for being a bit unreliable initially. Teething problems maybe. It seems pretty popular so they may add more services if demand grows. Of course Grab bike is another good cheap option for a person travelling by themself.
Amazing Tony with the bus. Thanking you for video you make the video about the phuket smart bus watched. It's great incredible I taken this bus from Phuket International airport flight to my hostel Karon situation! Your video is simple amazing love the video thank you for video making with the camera I loved the video! Greetings from and thank you Tony Thailand for phuket bus information which.
Thanks for the video . We're coming over to Kamala in a few weeks time , and this looks a really good way to get around . Do you just pay when you get on the bus ? Sorry I never noticed.. 👍
Thankyou so much for this. We are coming to phuket in May. we will be staying in mai khao do you know what the public transport is like past the airport?.. is there tut tuts or anything.. rather than paying for a taxi from airport to accommodation?.. thanks, from the uk 🇬🇧
I must say Tony you kind of drop the ball with this one. There is also Free WIFI , Smart Card : Pay by Phuket Rabbit Card is allowed , Wheelchair : Handicap Accessible Entrance , CCTV : To give the passenger a sense of security throughout the trip , USB : Every seat with USB port for charging , GPS : Real-time Bus Tracker System I believe that at least some if not all of the buses have been converted to Electric Power
Awesome thanks Tony

Noted, yes One can always do better but thank you for your input I need to re look at this and do a better video as it offers a great service 👍
What is the difference between the smart Bus and the long tail type bus with no windows are they all running on the same time tables?
