same turbo we just bought, the box was damaged when it got here, the turbo looked fine, should have it installed in couple of weeks.

I got maxpeedingrods GT30 a while ago, not yet tested tho.
I've heard that these work just fine for like upto 20psi, after that the bearings may fail. I guess it's something to do with those bearings being way undersized for that size of a turbo.
Nice! I haven’t had any issues with mine at all, but I run sub 15 psi
Just got two of them They are going to feed the 12-71 on my propane powered 454 . Boost is going to be in the high 20.s low 30.s ( not one stock part left in the whole engine) The SC could mae that kind of boost but would not be as eficient als a compound setup.

@@StationroadRatrods Nope Just got the turbo,s The wastegate, popoff and boost controller where almost more €€€ than the turbo,s itself. Haver the 12/71, Got the intercoorleer under the SC almost done. Now start making the headers for the turbo,s

I have 2 gt45s on my 5.3 silverado. I got the bullet wheel ones hoping for faster spool, I had twin gt3582 from max before and loved them.
I had them on all last summer and the beginning of this summer with no issues at all, they’re definitely fun and work great
@StationroadRatrods how many lbs of boost could you spool before launching, I have a 3000 stall so I know you are manual.
I have manual yup, I couldn’t spool at all but it spooled a little with the 2 step
@StationroadRatrods yea I watched and used your 2 step video, I still can't get flames but it works well for me otherwise

Speaking of that O ring, do you believe it is necessary? My on3 turbos don’t have one. Could that be a spot that leaks?
I actually haven’t seen it on any of my turbos before this, I can’t see it being detrimental considering my Mack turbo didn’t have it

For the realz you should have seriously went with a BG S400 series turbo and get away from them lower power turbos
I’m just looking for around 10-12 psi, nothing big. Also, 300$ is pretty much my max budget for a turbo in any scenario so this works for me
