    Have you ever thought combining the 3-5 rule to your mma training? St Pierre i think i remember he used to specifically do 5 min round training and he was one of the greatest. He said its pointless to train longer than a round since you only fight for 5 mins. You could do the same with all your training potentially.

      I agree and disagree with that approach! =D

    I’m trying to combine calisthenics and Olympic lifting (specifically to increase my vertical) but it’s so hard to progress because my body gets so fatigued

      sleep 1h more if you can! That alone will go a long way! :)

    Dominik! Hi! How are you? As always, you are a big inspiration man! I love your journey and the way you explain and share your training and your ideas. It's beautiful, really! Question: what bag do you have behind you at this video?? I want it! Jaja (sorry for my english) Abrazo desde Bahia Blanca, Argentina!

    Koja je svrha bjj u mma?

    • @trdic
      @trdic  9 месяцев назад

      pa ako ne drugo defense od arm bara, kimure, trokuta, giljotine i rear naked choka… wrestling jim nije jaca strana ali ako nemas bjja ona moze protivnik da dobi samo jednu nogu i ide heel hook i koljeno u kurac i izgubis mec… muay thai, wrestling, bjj i boks sve je treba da se radi za mma… bar ako se mene pita :) 🙏

    Curious to know if you have had muscle tears and how you’ve dealt with them.

    • @trdic
      @trdic  9 месяцев назад +1

      absolutely… way to many =D luckily all small tears so surgery was never necessary… 🙏 how to recover from it? intelligent training… managing stress, sleep, adjusting the training and life according. I can go on all day but it depends on the location of the tear… :)

      I had a tear in the upper right shoulder blade after I did a hand stand but I’m feeling much better now. I could probably start training again now. I won’t go crazy cause my son was born yesterday so I’ll probably be busy for a while. Thanks brother Merry Christmas and a Happy Nee Year.

    for me becomes hard to recover the moment u increase the volume, Dominik is pratically a Veteran so for him 2h are like nothing probably.....of course i don t know the volume. Btw if you increase the negative in any exercise, u will be sore. Expecially the legs, and it will not make u a better fighter.

      strenght training for martial arts is a must, and Calis can be included, but it needs to take into account lots variables expecially if are exernal stress in the life of an individual.... i am a doctor, im 31..i have trained all of my life calis and boxing... still i find hard to combine. Is a metter of priorities

      The fact that training and recovery are my number 1 priority in life definitely helps combining different disciplines and training full time.
      full time job and full time pro athlete is not a fun combination indeed…

    Hey Dominik! A question regarding your nutrition: in an an old ebbok from one of your pages, "The Diet Planner Guide" (i think from where the Upper Body Beast and Lower Body Dynamite used to be), you talk about basically just eating real food. Over the years, have you change this approach or may have try other eating habits/diets?

    • @trdic
      @trdic  9 месяцев назад

      great memory!! I tried many different things but I still agree with that statement! I believe diet is a very individual thing and there is no one fits all food list… + I find learning some principles about when to eat and what to avoid mixing is actually more important (or at least as much) as what you eat… :)

      @@trdic Interesting, i've never considered that as an important factor. Do you have any references (books, videos, etc) or recommendations to understand a bit more about that?
