I would say all of the above! The bottom line in this conundrum is, are the Church overseers/ leaders willing to have these conversations - while using a third party, non bias litigator. This is the only way to move forward in a healthy manner.

AMEN!!💯 Have Church/people fellowshipping anywhere; and communion is personal with TLJC as the focus for the church/people to examine themselves to see if they are of the faith; it is not a commandment!!💯 PLEASE read what happens if the church/people partake of the communion and is unworthy; so the church will understand why there is so much sickness and death among the church/people!!💯

Some of that deals with the Church is supposed to be having business meetings to talk about how the money is gleaned and where the money is going and what it is used for. They are supposed to have periodic business meetings. How people become chosen and ordained that is supposed to be taught from the pulpit when you teach about spiritual gifts. A lot of that can be covered from the Pastor teaching the Bible

I'm sure a lot of church are doing what you are saying, but not with a space of on going conversations and making it feel and be safe for someone to ask a "stupid" question as Jesus did with the disciples. Unfortunately, many times the meeting/bible studies etc. are held and it is one sided, only to give information.

Some Christians leave because they are in the process of replacing faith with facts and the church does not operate on facts.

I'm in the UK and I fit into this category. I'm still healing from what felt like trauma and I have vowed never to allow anyone make me feel unworthy ever again. I love Jesus, but Black Pentecostal Christian's we have to earnestly start demonstrating the Love of Christ and His fruit to one another in Christendom and to those who don't know Christ....It's time to grow up and stop playing Church. Christ is coming back soon.

This is a great topic. I spent years wanting a place to worship with others. But it never turned out that way once I got there. God shows me so many dreams about who these pastors really are, not to mention the bad experiences I’ve had personally. The whole operation of the worship “the idea of going to a building” is complete wrong. It is ran like the synagogues in the Bible. The way that the pastors pastor the church is wrong. Jesus never put himself above His people. He wasn’t obsessed with money. He knew that God would provide. He was always there, you never heard Him say this is too many people I can’t handle this or call me for an appointment. Or stand on a stage preaching and never coming down and interacting with the sheep. When Jesus encountered the multitude (5,000) what did He do, He fed all of them, not one went away hungry!

How can you do that when most of them are in cliques and living with unaddressed trauma? I was apart of the black church for 20+ years, still have fond memories of my late pastor. If the churches don’t understand the character and nature of Christ then what are they doing. Most of the people in church simply do not fear God. It’s really that simple. Y’all can keep talking dressing up looking the part, being articulate all you want. But the fear of God is the foundation and a large swath of “Christians” cannot see the correlation between the sentiments spoken on the podium and that issue.

So here's a few questions? Other than Roman Catholicism where does the way the American church service is constructed come from? We do not worship like ancient synagogues ( meaning order of worship) and its differently not the temple in the old testament. So what brought about this order of annoucements, praise and worship, offering, sermon, dismissal? None of which leave much room for deeping intimacy with each other. Everything I heard tells me that happens at another time through random ministries but why. How is this the best way to honor God. And does is lesve the Holy Spirit in control of the day or is it just the best corporate structure? Can we be honest that a lot of churches survive by through colonization of ides and resources controled by a few who truly believe their purpose in Christ must be served first and are the only ones that matter? Personally Im not hurt by it. To each his own. I just believe theres a better way than what western theology has offered from ots colonial roots and people are exhuasted with the justifications that don't match the scripture. WWJD? It differently wasnt big business or this structure.

The reason the church/people stop going to a building...is because they read in the Bible that the people is the church and only fellowship in Christ/anointing with each other is required; and the physical location doesn’t matter!!💯🛎

As someone who has left Christianity her are my reasons.
    1. I more so left the chuch not Jesus.
The problem are Christians not necessarily Jesus.
He is an Ascended Master & a spirit guide to me.
    2. It's full of corruption & apart from the Orthodoc church, it lacks discipline of any kind.
The church screams "come as your are" but doesn't tell people "dont stay as you are."
    3. Most of christian practices & beliefs stem from ancient pagan religions anyway.
It all leads back to the ancients.
Christianity is repackaged spirituality so you might as well go back.
    4. Christians are hypocritical.
They preach one thing & do another.
    5. Theres too much division.
Christianity alone has over 35,000 denominations.
Christians can't even agree on their doctrines.
    6. Too much confusion.

I watch this video I'm sure its on RUclips of this white pastor justifying slavery by saying it delivered all the slaves from their evil ways. White people often use the Bible and Jesus name to discriminate and be racist. People don't realize back in the day lynching took place on Sunday after Church. The white man would leave church and go molest, rape, torture and murder black people sometime in the name of God.

How can you look at the world, at the history of black people, and continue to be duped into believing in a religion that colonisers handed you to make you docile and weak, while they rebel or utilise Christianity in their own manner and still succeed?
And this goes for every religion to the other coloniser faiths to the old Africa religions, they are useless.
