- Now Carbridge finally works with IOS 14 and above. Learn how to use 3rd party installed apps from your phone on your car's infotainment system. Carbridge can do wonders and can make a normal car act as an internet inside the car. Surf RUclips directly in your car without any delays or lags. Play MP4 files on your car's display.
To perform this, a jailbroken iPhone is required. In my case, I am using an iPhone X on IOS 14.4.1 which is jailbroken.

Hi Pranil even i am using iphone 13 pro rn as my primary phone. This is not possible on this lastest device rn. The video is for upto IOS 14 only while the latest iPhones are running IOS 15. I have kept an old iPhone X for this purpose.

Hey I will try my best to solve your problem. But for that I need you to answer some questions.
Q1) Is your phone jailbroken properly.
Q2) What is the IOS version and phone model
Q3) When you buy Carbridge , have you clicked “link with cydia” button
Q4) After clicking the button, do you see the repo installing just like showing in the video
Q5) Which software you used to Jailbreak your iPhone.
Tip : try installing the repo manually by going into sources tab in cydia. Then click + button on top. The add this repo link : repo.packix.com/ and click add.

Well bro you need to go through quiet of a process to do this.
Also rooting the phone will void its warranty and can even brick it.
Do it at your own risk. Many root tutorials are available on YT. pick any one

For now you can only go for carplay dongles like ai box that inject android in your car and using that you can play youtube, netflix etc….

I can confirm that Amazon Prime Video and Netflix both are not working even in portal app.

I have now purchased the full version of cydia but I cannot link my carbridge on my packix account to my cydia account. It just will not work.
I believe you have purchased Carplay from Packix. Cydia is absolutely free to use. Dont worry then.
Be sure you have Jailbroken your device with the right way. Try rejailbreaking.
Open Cydia > Sources > Edit > Add > repo.packix.com
Do then above stated procedure. You will start seeing Carbridge in Cydia. Now when you will try to install it, it will automatically ask for login for Packix.
My iPhone has the latest update but it’s saying my iOS version do not support this feature.

Carbridge cannot work without Jailbreak. It is currently not available for ios 15.1 but can be in 3-4 months

There are mainly 3 types of adapters
1. Wireless Carplay Adapter (turns wired carplay to wireless)
2. Wireless Android Auto Adapter (wired android to wireless
3. Converts OEM Car infotainment to Android through Carplay interface ( this is the only which can help you to install apps from Playstore (YT, Netflix etc) and support both wireless CarPlay and AA.
How to install it on android??
It’s quite a different process. You need to root your device for that
you should put "jailbreak" or "JB" in description
Better than those videos that say they require no jailbreak but they are fake with fake likes and bot comments

No Never, Carbridge and related apps need root access to continue.
While I think you can go for tethered jailbreak, it will not effect your warranty. Anytime you need warranty, backup your phone and then restore device using iTunes on your laptop and send it for service without any issues. after receiving it back, restore the backed up data and jailbreak again
Don't fall to the spams which say it is possible to install it without Jailbreak...

It will update with no issues….. JB may be removed and carbridge will stop working
