The chrome looks great. On the canopy, I would probably have made a mold in clay or sculpty that way you could heat up the acrylic and just press it in the mold to shape.
Thanks, I’ve never done molds but I’ve been thinking about trying it for a while. So many products and ways to do molds I’m just trying to pick the easiest and accessible materials to me. Never thought of clay!

Do you have a lion teardown video? I need replace one of the legs from a green lion but am scared to try and snap off something that shouldn't be snapped off.
Hi Gordon, in the video I used 2mm. I wouldn’t go any thinner than that, it’s just what I had on hand. I would suggest 2.5 or even 3mm if you want a rigid stand for heavier items but 2mm worked for me.
That replacement canopy with the heat gun was a great idea... nice job! :)

Good idea 💡
I found this channel from your voltron video, I really amaze how you could restore this Voltron nicely, I like your channel, let me subscribe !!!
Thanks for watching.
Loving your videos.. I am trying to restore the same Voltron but cannot find replacement canopies anywhere. Do you sell any custom canopies?
Great, thanks for watching. I don’t sell the things I make, try out what I did it’s not that hard. Good luck!

Hi A C, I do. I’ll put it up soon.
Hi, I just loaded a video of the Voltron leg repair/replacement you requested.
Did you ever find repro stickers?
Hi, no I never did. Tried to make my own but didn’t turn out as I hoped.
Hello, what chrome pen are you using?
Molotow
How would you do the Yellow canopy?
Using this technique you would need a blue lion canopy and then drill a hole to accept the weapon on the top.
Hi, what was the thickness of the acrylic in mm? cheers in advance
