My last understanding about a live action Voltron film has to do with acquiring the rights from World Events Media ( the company that produced Voltron). The vehicle Voltron with the Explorer would be to expensive. Now if they did the Lions first and if a Lion Voltron smashes the box office, then maybe a Vehicle Voltron could be produced. I kind of not want to do it because it will be compared to Power Rangers and even Transformers and if it flops people will say “Ooh they tried rolling out that bootleg MegaZord or Transformers combiner. They should have done it before the Power Rangers and Transformers movies. They should have released it 30 to 35 years ago.

consider this, we were 12-ish and what else out there was there to compare it to? although to be fair, somewhere around 85--86 i was exposed to japanese manga for the first time and turned my back on regular cookie cutter cartoons and comic books shortly after.
Car voltron was universal and original suppose to be the Japanese version. Then later came lion voltron which is more intense fighting and had more episodes usa version if not mistaken .There both good .

I had the 5 lion Voltron and also the vehicle Voltron. I think it is hard to keep the vehicle voltron complete with all the pieces. That is why the Lion Voltron is the favorite because of the colors and bigger pieces to keep track. Love the cartoons growing up.
When the robot combines, do the others stay in their vehicles the entire time? Because what kind of motion sickness do you get from sitting in the feet and arms for the whole fight?
