  • As part of the childhood dream of taking to the skies, now at 50+ the action is rolling.
Made a wooden propeller to be driven by a petrol engine. Due consideration is being taken but the success is a matter of trial.
Hope to complete this project soon.

I have shown in the video the glue I have used. It's basically two pack, epoxy-resin glue. To cut the long story short, it's Araldite I have used. Although there are other grades and types of glues used by other manufacturers.

Hi Arjun, so nice of you to comment.
Any hard wood can be good for the propeller, like rosewood. I used 3 layers of teak wood and two layers of a wood called "gamhar". Don't really know the English name for it.😇
Are you anyway into flying, or into similar projects?

Hello! I like your propeller! I would like to make an Ultralight trike (motorized glider) And I am thinking what is the best propeller to use, I wanted to try to make your propeller model, do you have the blueprints, maybe in pdf format? Thank you!

      Hello DisFey,
Nice of you to show interest. I would wish you all the best for your project. But sorry. No, I do not have the blueprint. Worked it out "off-the-head" after creating the design in my head. That's how I work.
